Lindsay's parents plan to marry her off.  Good luck with that.  Michael on the other hand was stupid enough to think David would welcome him back with open arms.  But Hank is on to him.

Ha ha ha, Lindsay married to a man, wealthy, but cheap! That's a promise for some funny encounters.

As for Michael, I hope he has a 2 ways ticket so he won't have to stay in Portland. Else, I fell very sorry for the airport management.

Nancy made it sound like they're selling Lindsay to Cartwright. Oh Well.. one way to get her off your hands and checkbook. I have to wonder if Ron is aware that last 5k went up Lindsay's nose. The payout to Justin didn't seem to hurt their pocketbooks the way I thought it would. Will Ryder and Gardner be as lucky?

Not that I don't find Michael's predicament extremely funny, but how did he get so much money in the first place? Besides his fine, and then a one-way last-minute ticket to go 2,500 miles, had to really cost him some major bucks. He wasn't working in Portland, and prior employment at the Big Q couldn't have garnered him too much money. So, again, where did he get this money?

Where's David and Hank?

Gotta love Joe Ferragano. He can really do bitch slap-downs. Sloth indeed! Laziness definitely becomes Michael!

Author's Response:

Hey Cathy,

The way Michael accumulated so much money was explained throughout the second installment. However, to put it all into perspective for you: imagine if you worked, but all of your expenses were paid by someone else.

In Michael's case, Debbie took care of everything, including his rent and food. Tne only thing she didn't take care of was his comics/ collectables (at least not that she knows of) and clothing, which if you think about it really explains a whole lot. Example: 'I just blew a whole week's salary on a Wonder Woman collectable that was just posted on Ebay'* Although a pretty direct quote from somewhere in Season One, it would stand to reason that it wouldn't have been the first time Michael had done something so irresponsible. You don't have to suspend your disbelief that far where this version of Moocher- erm, I mean, Michael, is concerned.

Anyway, that theory is also why every time Michael wanted to go out to eat, he went to the Diner- a habit that's been happening since before he started working at the Big Q and has been continued all the way through time to officially move to Portland. So free food and free housing left Michael with a pretty substantial bank account, especially since Debbie had no problem inadvertently lying about why she always needed extra money. I mean, she did because she was taking care of two households while living on her salary and tips from the Diner, but no one really knew that except maybe in Em in an obscure way.

As for the little ingrate himself, whenever he needed extra money, he'd just pull out a sob story and the puppy dog eyes, and VOILA! Instant 'loan' which never got paid back. Then add David to the mix, and it's not hard to see how he accumulated so much money. Plus, believe it or not, comics and other collectables really ARE worth a pretty penny. And as Dumby often noted, the longer you hold on to it, the more it appreciates in value. So based on Michael's 'collection' and how long he's been working at hoarding his stash, it's safe to believe that he's had some pretty prime pieces that were worth a small fortune to sell.

Hope this helped to paint a complete picture of where Michael's 'wealth' came from.

HAPPY READING and HUGS,

~Nichelle

Cartwright sounds like someone who will twist Lindsay into so many knots that she won't be able to find her way out again.

Perhaps dangling one of Lindsay's most cherished desires will have her eager to sign those papers without realizing that she has nowhere else to turn because of the iron clad prenuptial agreement and her new fiance having all the power.

And this was Jennifer's idea? Genius!!

Wonder if Jennifer knows someone who would like to put Michael in his own gilded prison with no way out?

Sounds like Nancy despises and envies that Daphne has that much strong will and power at such a young age that she wields honestly but with an iron fist, while Lindsay is still sitting at the beginning and refuses to grow up.

Justin and Daphne have quite the work ethic that will make them successful no matter what they do without having to lower their standards to get people to want to be near them, they may have been raised Wasp but they are living their lives on their own terms without bullying or deceiving others to get their way.

But when pushed they can fight dirtier and nastier while still looking innocent and sweet plus when they destroy their enemies and weaken their foes no one will believe they did anything so Diabolical.

Ronald should just keep his mouth shut and stay out of Justin's way or he will be crushed and ridiculed for the rest of his life.

Michael running to David who left as fast as he could with his son to a better life shows just how much effort he is willing to put in to make sure he is well taken care of until he comes up with a new plan to get Brian.

He is so idiotic that it doesn't take much effort to insult him but it hurts watching his brain try to come up with something new and original.

I hope his feet swell after walking ten miles back to the airport lol

Aren't Mel and Lindsay Married Civilly?

Thanks For the Update 😃
