Who is daring interrupting them? Someone who has the key: Michael would be my first guess, Lindsay would be my second; I bet she would not agree with what Justin is thinking: coming back home.

For the first time Justin is finally telling Brian what he feels and not telling Brian what he thinks he wants to hear. I think this is a pivotal point in their relationship. Lindsay and Michael have no filters when it comes to Brian.

I love the interaction between Molly, Jennifer and Brian. I think in my universe, Brian has a fondness for all things Taylor. He is protective of Molly and I think Justin would be too, so Brian would be protective, just by proxy.

I think Brian is reluctant to tell Justin that he lives in New York because it would give him more information about him as an artist. It would also bring up what he was doing- ie stripping and Justin has not remembered that part of his life. Brian is still trying to go slow. He's happy that Justin remembers them and he is content to leave it at that if he could

Yes, Justin is a very smart and persistent little twat: of course he would ask where he paints as there is nothing in the loft apart some supplies for drawing.
I loved "Am I the color in your world, Brian?" It's really a great way to qualify Justin's place in Brian's ordered, monochrome environment.

Thank you!!. Sometimes the title of a chapter jsut comes to you and this one is one of those. Justin usually lives in color but right now he is stuggling to see how he fits in.

Absolutely. He feels like such an outsider- well sort of- he knows Gus, Brian etc but he doesn't know them like he thinks he should. Very difficult.
