Wow.  The girls and Michael, now that's a combination.  Okay, who is pregnant?  Mel or Lindsay?  Michael should stay in the loonie bin.  Looks like Gus is in good hands and soon Brian will be too.  Great job.

Author's Response: Yes, the troubled triplets. Debbie has her hands full, or maybe your right. Michael and Lindsay might need an extended stay at the psych ward. Now that Brian has Gus with him, he's not apt to let him go back to the girls. Hugs Hon ~ Kathleen

Justin and Brian so needed the time away to strengthen their connection because the chaos in Pittsburgh sure did escalate.

I can work up an ounce of worry for Mel like Lindsay can work up none I mean it doesn't take a rocket scientist to call 911 for an ambulance <huge eye roll> it is really true Michael and Lindsay can't make a decision without Brian, but they sure can be selfish, self-absorbed idiots without him.

And if Lindsay is pregnant then she can be a slut without Brian's help.

Michael and Lindsay can fight about being Mrs. Brian Kinney but they can't remember a small child, a stove still on or Mel lying unconscious?

MORONS!!!

Nurse Ratchet is going to need medical attention after dealing with those two.

I doubt whatever is going on with Mel will stop her ranting at or about Brian to anyone she can find.

But without a job, a proper place to live and money what chance does she think she has against Brian, his past has nothing to do with how he loves his son, but her actions are up for consideration with a huge magnifying glass.

Hell Mel can't get a job in a law firm anywhere because of her attitude, in court she will be worse because like Michael her mouth has no filter when she is aiming to win.

If Deb were smart she would stay away from Brian but that ain't happen <sighs sadly> like Michael she also has a one track mind which is "Brian Fix It, You Owe me, My Kid, After Al I/We Did For You".

Crap is Siberia Far Enough?

Fantastic Update, Thanks

Author's Response: Yes, it's a good thing Brian now has Justin by his side. Maybe they need to grab Gus, and head back out on vacation again. Self absorbed idiots is right. Now their delusions have landed them in the loony bin, right where they belong. The nurses might need to start self-medicating. Yes, Mel's chances of keeping custody of Gus is slim to none. Your right, no job, no home, and no money won't sway any judge her way. I wonder how the weather is in Siberia this time of year? Hugs Hon ~ Kathleen

Kathleen,

So happy to see another chapter of this great story. The weasel and the bitch are delusional. The hospital staff should have fun with them. so happy that Gus and Justin are bonding. A kid couldn't have better parents than those two men. they could use some more hot sex though. Love this story.

~Lorie

Author's Response: Thanks, I'm so glad you like it! When the nurses pass out their medication, it will be two for you, one for me. Brian and Justin might have to sound proof Gus's bedroom, so he won't hear all that hot sex you're requesting! Hugs Darling ~ Kathleen

I can't stop laughing. Mel in the hospital, OK more serious than what Ted knows because she passed out before hitting her head. Michael and Lindsay in the psych ward due to arguing about their religions of who Brian is married to or whiom he's going to marry. Lindsay forgetting the oven was on and Deb's house almost burns down. OMFG what else can go wrong? Oh yeah the nurse suggesting Brian be analyzed.

Shame Michael eavesdropped on the conversation at the dinner. I think with all going on he'll forget about getting even with Daphne. Ha! He'll probably be too scared to face her let alone try anything.

I guess Gus has his father's taste in men. Took right to Justin like he's known him forever. Brian lucked out there.

Author's Response: Brian made it out of the psych ward just in time. although he might have liked to ransack the medicine cabinet before he left. Just kidding, now that Gus will be staying with him, he won't have time to indulge in his bad boy behavior. Michael and Lindsay can argue until the end of time, or at least have a long vacation under doctors supervision. They're both going to explode when they find out Brian has already given his heart to Justin. Later Darling ~ Kathleen

OMG!!! WHAT A CHAPTER!!! First of all, Brian and Justin are just so wonderful to read about. The way their relationship is progressing is just what the doctor ordered amongst the chaos Brian's life has been and is about to become once more. The meeting at the Diner, and the introduction of them as a couple to Em and Daph was simply marvelous! The Tell-a-Queen network is sure to be buzzing with that news! I laughed aloud at Michael's discovery that Daph was the one who punked him. I still laugh hysterically every time I think about that scene. Just freaking PERFECT!!

Now onto the drama with a capital 'D' that occured at Deb's house... Mel really needs to get an attitude check and QUICK! Her whole demeanor makes her an unfit mother, and we won't even talk about the fact that it's apparent that no one wants to work with her. That alone should have her singing a different tune. As for the custody papers, well now, I don't blame Brian one damn bit, especially with how unstable she is acting alongside her 'wife'.

Speaking of which, Lindsay's pregnant?! And she's claiming that Brian is the father?! Oh, my good gravy! The story behind that ought to be good! I wonder if Melanie knows, which could very well explain her attitude towards Lindsay. Or maybe she has yet to find out about Lindsay's extracurricular activities. i mean, she must have had quite a bit of free time being unemployed and all, and I'm sure that Gus' naps would have left plenty of time for Lindsay's 'Maintenance Man' to come through. The only other possibility I can think of is that it was all planned between Melanie and Lindsay to get more money from Brian, and whereas it's certainly viable considering their financial situation right now, I can't see Mel agreeing to it willingly. I can't wait to read more about the backlash of BS from this.

As for Michael and Lindsay's meltdown about just who is Mrs. Brian Kinney, I say that the people in the white coats and Nurse Ratchet go ahead and start issuing 'Happy' pills, or better yet a happy shot to their hindparts right now because both are clearly out of their minds! It is amazing to me that even as Melanie is lying crumpled to the floor that they can still somehow find time to argue about who Brian belongs to. Pathetic, imbecilic, uncivilized idiots doesn't even come close to describing how stupid the Wonder Twits really are....SMH Brian's reaction to the nurse's questions and assumptions based on what she was told was EVERYTHING! I laughed aloud at his explosions, knowing good and well that I would have reacted the same exact way. I do wonder though, if he was able to talk/argue with Melanie to at least get a small picture of what led to her current hospital stay. And about Lindsay's pregnancy...if there is one? Here's to hoping that Lindsay is lying, and she's just indulging in some wishful thinking to keep them from medicinally dragging her off her version of Fantasy Island.

Great job, Kathleen! You have me sooooo HOOKED into this story!

HAPPY WRITING and HUGS,

~Nichelle

Author's Response: Yes, never a dull moment on The Avenue. Emmett has his work cut out for him to spread the word that Brian Kinney's in LOVE! Oh poor Michael, he got punked by a girl. NOT! Even though Mel's not with them in the loony bin, she might need some psych drugs herself. Is Lindsay pregnant? Or is she just delusional, okay we know she's delusional. But if she is pregnant who's the father? So many questions... Yes, no need to concern themselves with Mel laying on the floor. It's much more important that they continue the never ending argument of who's Mrs. Brian Kinney. I think the best thing Brian can do is slowly back out of the room and run like hell... I'm so glad you're enjoying this one. Hugs Sweetheart ~ Kathleen

Ha ha ha, dog sitter! You have the best ideas to make Michael look like a dumb clown. Poor Debbie.

Excellent the almost monologue from Mel with Brian hearing all her rage, stupidity and pretentiousness. As if any partner would be impressed to have a paralegal driving a Jaguar. Ted is so right: they should have rented their house and Mel should have looked at the conditions to be a lawyer in Canada; she is worse than Michael.

Author's Response: I try my best, to show Michael at his worst. Mel has really made just about the worse decisions at each and every turn. It was pretty much inevitable that they were going to crash and burn. Now they're back home where they can wallow in their sorrow along with Michael. Hugs Darling ~ Kathleen

I'm so glad that Justin brings out and accepts Brian's honesty. Can't ask for much more than that.

Good thing that Brian was still on phone when Mel went off. He'd never hear the real truths from the girls otherwise. I did love the way stood up to her and for Brian. Mel let's her jealousy get in the way of Gus' happiness too many times.

Oy! Michael and the girls along with Gus all under Deb's roof. Maybe now Gus can spend time with his father while the stupid women in his life get their own lives back on tract.

Author's Response: Brian and Justin seem to bring out the best in each other, and honest will be there best friend as they learn more about one another as there relationship grows. It's true Mel never would have come clean with Brian. She'd feel to insecure to allow him to know how reckless she's been this last year. Ted may be friends with Mel, but his friendship with Brian has grown closer. Brian's learned that Ted is trustworthy, and Ted appreciates the faith Brian has in him, being the only one who really gave him a chance to get him life back together. I have a feeling that Debbie's going to need a vacation from all the children she has under her roof. Brian's isn't going to let Gus live in all that craziness, especially now that he has his own room at the loft. Hugs Darling ~ Kathleen

I am so happy Brian got to hear how Mel screwed up and how the girls were abusing Gus's support money to live beyond their means, Brian doesn't owe Mel or Lindsay a Damn Thing but they do Owe Gus every cent they spent.

Mel has been spending too much time with Lindsay cause she is adopting that Wasp Entitlement Behavior, trying to act better than everyone else blew up in her face Big Time and I doubt they will be giving her a glorious recommendation.

What the Hell did Lindsay spend the credits cards on?

Deb is letting the girls stay because of Gus but three unemployed people whining about how life is Unfair will get old in two seconds.

Ted needed to say he was picking sides he is on the side of Gus, Brian and Honesty?

Mel doesn't deserve to be coddled when she was using a four-year old to bleed his father dry, plus her derogatory comments in front of Gus should get her in some trouble.

If Brian sues for custody, repayment of funds and slander the girls are toast.

Brian and Justin are figuring out being together while also growing together, that strength will be needed once they get back to Pittsburgh.

Fantastic Update :)

Author's Response: It was no mistake that Ted left Brian on speaker phone, he heard hurricane Melanie at Cynthia's desk. After ten years together Lindsay's entitlement behavior was bound to rub off on Mel, even if she likes to think of herself a as savior for the less privileged. Yeah, no glowing recommendation for her will be coming from Canada anytime soon. Debbie may love being mother to all of Liberty Avenue, but having to put up with them 24/7 might drive her insane. Brian already called his lawyer once he saw the empty house, then overhearing Mel's rant only made him more determined to reassert his parental rights. It's great that Brian now has someone he can rely on, stand strong with, and confide in. He's finally learning what it feels like to be loved. Hugs Darling ~ Kathleen

So very happy to see this. I was starting to wonder if we needed to put out an all-points-bulletin for you. (kidding!) But I really was wondering about it, as last week someone posted a question on FB as to how many WIP's we were reading, so as I was counting mine, I saw yours and thought, "Hey! Where's Kathleen?" But I'm sorry to hear it was because your computer crashed. That's sucks!

Really? Only weekends for the dumbass? He doesn't work anyways. You could have made the streets of Pittsburgh safe for a solid eight months or something. But, at least the boys of gay PA can go out on the weekends and "have no fear, cause Novotny's not here!" And why does Michael want to talk to Brian? Is he really delusional enough to think Brian will talk to him?

But now that Mel and Lindsay and Gus are going to be staying at Deb's too, I have a feeling Debbie will need to find somewhere else to go. How are they ALL going to survive trying to live together in that tiny house? I gotta wonder if the girl's were upfront with Debbie and told her all their money problems. And how stupid of Mel to buy an expensive new wardrobe and a Jag?  The law firm probably thought she didn't need the money and wouldn't miss her lowly job of a paralegal.

I thought Brian was on the phone with Ted when Mel came in the office, but when  there were no interruptions, I thought, 'maybe not'. Only to squeal with delight when I realized Brian heard every single thing Mel said. All Brian needs to do now is get his attorney on the phone, as the girls wouldn't hold a prayer in winning a child custody battle with no home and no money. And Mel thought Lindsay had an attitude! What's her excuse? But I'm sure her bitchy attitude on the job came normal.  Mel said something to Ted that Gus doesn't understand the word "Whore".  So is that what she's calling Brian in front of Gus? I'd love to hear Gus repeat it and call Brian a whore instead of Daddy. Mel would really find herself in a shitload of trouble. Possibly sued for defamation of character. Big question here:  What did Lindsay buy that she maxed out the charge cards? And what, pray tell, did the girls spend $30K on?  Well, they can't live at Debbie's for free, so now what? Mel might not get a job if she has to use her last employment for a referral. I hope the diner and the Big Q are hiring. I know three adults who are in need of employment. Although I can see Lindsay trying to get Brian to hire her in his art department, which will be a resounding "NO"!

Brian and Justin are so cute together. I rather like this OOC Brian. He's sweet. And boy did Justin need somebody like that in his life.

Enjoyed the update. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Cathy

Author's Response: That's sweet that you missed me. Yes my computer crashing, and it was like having my hands cut off. I pray it never happens again. I know only having Michael incarcerated on the weekends doesn't seem like enough punishment. But there's more trouble headed his way, he really needs to learn to shut this mouth and stop talking smack about everyone. I think you're right, Debbie might need to charge rent for letting everyone stay, then she could rent an apartment to get away from all the whining. Melanie couldn't have made any more stupid mistakes if she tried. Okay she could, anything is possible. For all the complaining she does about Brian, and his behaviors, she needs to take a good look in the mirror. She not much of an example of a good parent, the way she talks about Brian, and fights with Lindsay, Gus is probably afraid of her. Both of their reckless spending, and jealously has their relationship stretched to far that it might snap once and for all. I'm also liking this OOC Brian, he needs to know how it feels to be loved, and respected. Justin is the perfect person to show him how to open his heart and close his wallet. Next chapter is coming up soon... Hugs Sweetheart ~ Kathleen

What a gem our Daphne is. Only she could scare the shit out of Michael. I just don't understand why Justin didn't tell Brian about the video. He would have enjoyed a good laugh. Ha!

Why in the world did Deb allow Michael to move back in with her? It's going to come back and bite her in the ass.

My man Ted. Handled that phone call perfectly. Those bitches need to learn fast how to live off their own money or move back. The United Bank of Kinney has denied them access.

Love how well Brian is taking care of Justin. He is smitten. Definitely.

Author's Response: Yes Daphne was perfect at threatening Michael, and he has no idea who she is. Justin is worried that Brian might still want to reconcile his friendship with Michael, so he waiting to show him the video. Yes, not the best idea for Deb to allow Michael to move back in. Professor Kinney’s Lessons of Love.  It appears as though Justin has learned quite well from The Master, and he sure put those lessons to good use! I love how close Brian and Justin already are. They really did need these few extra days to themselves before they have to face the horrific life that Toronto and Pittsburgh are going to bring them.

I really want to see Michael's face and reactions to finding out it was a GIRL that got him so terrified that night. And by none other than our little Daphne. That was great entertainment learning of that. And so happy everyone on Liberty Avenue is having front row seats to that little video. How long before Debbie sees it? And what a lowlife Michael is. If all he wants to do in a day is watch porn and read comics, and can't even be bothered to wash his shitty clothes, well, Deb should make him wash dishes or bus tables at the diner, and keep the money for herself, in order to supply Michael with room and board. As far as the fact he might have to serve some time in jail to pay his fine, sends tingles up my spine! Debbie wants Michael to get a job, but after the fiasco at the drugstore, I'm sure no respectable business will hire him. OOPS! He just might have to go stand on a street corner :)  And just what was Debbie smiling about, thinking that was easier than she thought? If she looked at Michael's computer and saw what he's been doing, maybe she can have the internet discontinued. Oh... BTW, is there a lock on the basement door, that has a problem getting stuck?

“I want my money! Send me my money!”  Me thinks Lindsay has gotten to the point of the porch light’s on but no one’s home, in other words, she sounds bat-shit crazy! Her and Mel have really tangled themselves in a hole. But I'd like to know just WHY they need money so desperately to pay their bills. Where's their money going? (or don't they have any?) And just what will be the outcome if they don't get GUS' money? I can't remember if you told us how long they have been in Toronto, but have they gotten their Canadian Citizenship yet? If not, have their work visas expired? Whatever their problem may be, when Brian finds out, I think the proverbial shit will hit the fan. I hope Brian goes for and wins full custody. Then the court can order Lindsay to pay child support. Not that Brian needs it, or would accept it, but it would be funny to see that happen. I was so glad Ted didn't take any of Lindsay's shit. Calling her on the fact that Brian has court ordered visitation and they didn't follow through with that. And how Brian doesn't legally have to pay child support. All those times Mel bitched saying she could support her family just fine, well apparently she can't. Also, Mel being a family court lawyer, should know better to go against a court ordered schedule.   Oh well... sounds like they screwed themselves over. Can't wait for Brian and Justin to get there, so we can find out what's going on. The girls better not try to bullshit Brian either, because he will see right through that! And good for Brian not answering his phone. If there should arise an emergency, Lindsay can call Ted, because Brian will answer for Ted.

Loved this update. Still so many questions, though. Looking forward to the next chapter.

XOXO ~ Cathy

Author's Response: With a teacher like Brian, Justin couldn't help but excel in his lesson's love! I know that was perfect that Daphne was the one to literately scare the shit out of Michael. You're so right no one's going to hire Michael, and his venture back in owning his own business won't even last a day. Maybe you're right the street corner might be next for the whining asshole. Too bad Debbie didn't check the history on the computer, she just might have to take a look into that? Yes, the girls have dug themselves into a bottomless pit, now they'll have to find a way to crawl back out and face their problems head-on.
