Oh dear, oh dear. Justin's sharp tongue has done it now! Their sexual banter is always a delight, but Justin really pushed Brian. IF Brian was an ordinary man, he'd just take that brush-off as a challenge. But since he is a KING - yowza! You do not say no to a king. Although - it's a different country - so how much of a bearing does that have? I suppose it would be like a dignitary coming to the U.S.

Brian showed quite the restraint NOT visiting the backroom and working off his frustration though.

One thing - this hit me comically. When they were arguing in Babylon, and of course Brian wanting to keep a low profile - the movie: Coming to America came to mind with Eddie Murphey trying to keep a low profile of who he was. Only that he got recognized because he was printed on his own money. See? SOMEONE might have recognized Brian if too much attention was brought to them. THAT could have been drastic what with having no security present. And I think Justin will suffer ramifications!

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

Justin can be so cute when he gets so outspoken...but there is a time for that, and unbeknownst to our sweet little blond, this wasn't that time! LOL

Brian is definitely spoiled, and unaccustomed to anyone speaking to him; most especially doing so that draws so much attention to them. There will always be a price to pay for that kind of disrespect in Brian's world.

I suppose as a prince, and of course, the heir to the throne, whether he wants to rule or not, should have currency with their face on it. Perhaps they don't get a lot of travelers from Brakania to America, or I think that would reared its head!

As always, thank you for your great support!

Hugs,

Janet

In a way, I'm surprised Brian didn't send Ted along to Taylor Electronics this evening. Thus to prevent Craig having another go at the books.

Jennifer is a conundrum. Is she as innocent as she seems? Is she more aware of what Craig is and has been doing, and is trying to head it off?

The fact Brian missed Jennifer's question, then proceeded with the leg caress - oh my, if Ethan had been there! At least we know Ethan isn't permanent.

Well, the stables failed, so I wonder what Babylon will behold?

And now what does Brian have up his sleeve?

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

I think in any other set of circumstances, Brian would have sent Ted back to the store with Craig...but he is so distracted by his little blond dynamo, at times, he doesn't seem to be thinking clearly. LOL

The stables failed in a big way. Justin isn't a pushover, or easy in any way. Not that he isn't attracted physically to Brian. Who wouldn't be? But, Brian doesn't have his easy mark with this blond. Haha.

We shall see what he tries next. I wonder if it will be another failure. LOL.

Thank you for your support, Cathy.

Hugs,

Janet

Sneaky Jennifer. Poor Craig. I can just about imagine he will still sweat through the whole meal, waiting for some slight that just might give something away.

Justin - astute as always. Impish wanting to bring Ethan... although it would have been funny to see Ted and Ethan ACROSS the table from Brian and Justin, and Brian's hands occassionally disappearing from view. (I know, I'm mean! LOL!)

And I found this quite comical: "What am I, three years old?" Justin muttered. "Yes, I'll behave... as long as he does." LOL... Brian Kinney - BEHAVE??? Yes, we could have a fun dinner party.

And was Justin too hasty when he said he wasn't on the menu?

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

At this point I think we can take Jennifer as she appears, wanting to see the best in everyone and every situation. Naive perhaps, but she knows Craig needs this meeting with Brian to go well. Will it? Only time will tell.

I almost wish I had included Ethan in dinner, but Justin isn't really dating Ethan in a serious way. Although, it would be fun to see initial jealousy from Brian here, and how he would handle it. I'm sure it would be memorable. Lol.

One wonders if Justin even believes he isn't on the menu! Haha.

Thanks for commenting, Cathy.

Janet

How funny... the very first sight Brian gets of Justin, is his back side... the delectable bubble butt. And couldn't it only get better? It did. It did.

Justin seems to have a feistiness about him - maybe Brian has met his match - or maybe not as easily a conquest as he hoped.

Poor Theodore. First, I'm sure whatever Craig attempted to do with his books, WILL NOT go unnoticed by Ted - but I am extremely curious to know what Craig has done and just where the money is and has been used for. And again, poor Ted. He knows Brian so well. As soon as he too saw Justin, he knew - he just knew where Brian's thoughts went.

And yes, boys and girls - Jewel? You make me sound like a woman. I can assure you that is not the case. I'm surprised his 'hand' didn't proceed south to accentuate that not-so-little 'fact'.

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

First impressions are supposed to be the most memorable. I guess Brian will never forget the sight of Justin's bubble butt. Haha.

Justin is definitely extremely feisty in this story. I guess that's good for the personalities he's about to be acquainted with soon. I think he can more than hold his own.

In this story in particular, Ted definitely knows Brian, but he has known him for a long time so I guess that goes with the territory.

I couldn't resist the Jewel line. I thought that would be a comical moment. We know Brian wouldn't let that one slide. Haha.

Thanks for commenting, Cathy. I'm glad you're enjoying this a second time around. :)

Perfect opening line - Brian already making Craig sweat - and not in a good, life-affirming way - LOL. And just what does our despicable Craig have his dirty hands in now? (One thing about this story, I'm pretty clueless to the going ons. So this will be FUN!)

I so loved Ted and his laid back, not get excited, bored tone. Apparently, Brian doesn't scare him.

UGH! Justin is dating Ethan! Well, I'm just going to satisfy myself that once Brian enters the picture, Ethan will be history. Bye, bye Chinrat!

Thanks for all the postings! I have some catching up to do!

HUGS,

Cathy

Author's Response:

In this 'verse, Brian could probably make anyone sweat - and often NOT in a life-affirming way. LOL.

Ted does seem at ease with Brian which is a bit surprising since he knows he is much more than an American financier, although, I am sure he knows when not to push him too.

I don't think Ethan will be much of a factor here, and with Brian on the scene, I'd say even less of one!

Thanks for commenting, Cathy. Your support is always appreciated.

Janet
