I guess a protective Daph is a good thing, but holy cow!! She's brutal! the boys beign protective of Brian was a hoot! I'm imagining those 2 scowling at Daphne. Justin trying his darndest to explaing things to Daph. I'm glad he stood up for himself, Brian and the situation though. Perhaps now that he's had a chance to explain everything to her she'll lst them do their thing their own way. I get the feeling that she'll really warm up to Brian though and be as supportive as ever of the 2.
Had to giggle over Lindsey doping Michael.hehehe. At least they got away and he was none the wiser till he regained consciousness. They have a decent head start. Lindsey is really questioning Mel now though. Is there hope for her yet?? I don't know. I have no idea where her loyalties will lie and that makes me nervous. she knows that what Mel did was wrong, adn will definitely watch out for future behaviour. She knows that what Mel did to Justin was beyond wrong, but will she do the right thing when she finds out all about how involved Mel really was or will she stay simply for financial purposes. I don't think she really loves Mel here. And OMG!! Daph is right!! when Deb finds out about mel's involvment? Holy craaaaaaaaaaaap! I can't wait for that!! she's going to be so incredibly screwed!!!!!!! Bye bye law, bye bye Gus, bye bye Jenny even...bye bye so much! Hello orange jumpsuit???? Who knows.
What exactly are they hoping to accomplish now? Do they really think they can just swoop in and get Gus back? How far will they go in their fight for him? And will Lindsey stick with Mel in that fight? So very many paths you can take with this and I am so looking froward to the journey you are going to take us all on!
BTW....does Michael seriously think that he's going to ingratiate himself back into Brian's life? Seriously?!?!? Is he that delusional? what am I saying...........of course he is. just makes it all that much more funto see him fall flat on his face. Of course he's going to try to get between Brian and Justin, but it won't work. those 2 are always so strong together when they are on the same page.
Eeeeeeeeeek! terrific update!!! Anticipation is huge now.

Crunch time with Ron! Woohoo! and Brad is now hiring an investigator. Oh this is going to be epic!
Mel is a major manipulative bitch!! she thinks her shit just don't stink! She's going to be scrambling now though! Ron is NOT going to stand by her at all. He's going to save his own ass. Mel obviously lied to him throughout it all. Now she finds out that Lindsey hsa been taking money from Brian.
Between Michael Lindsey and Mel...this is going to be one hell of a story! Mel is in serious shit, Lindsey has been going along for the ride and Michael actually thinks he can get back into Brian's good graces. (that'll be the day)

Oh...My....dear .....Lord!! those two girls are in such deep shit it'll take a miracle for them to get out of it. WOW! that Mel was even involved with the outcome of Chris Hobb's as well is so beyond unforgivable! I would never have seen that coming!
Mell trying to push thru the adoption is going to come back and bite her in the perverbial ass. the ramifications will be astronimical! Both she and ron could possibly face disbarrment for all this.
Soooooo relived that Gus will be staying with Brian now. things seem to be working out well in that area anyway. We know that Brian and justin will be a united front in protecting the boys. I'm looking forward to when the shit hits the fan with the girls. lol

Ron is an idiot who knows the (At least I think he does?) law and still handled everything wrong he knows now that he should have been the confidant lawyer Brian paid for instead of now looking like a charlatan and pasty for Mel.
Bet she just loved all Brian's dirt being brought into court who cares if Chris Hobbs gets off for almost killing Justin just so long as Mel got to gloat in secret.
Not that Brian cared cause unlike her and Lindsay he is and always will be proud to be an out Gay Man, Brian never had to hide he was honest the only time Mel wanted anyone to know she was a lesbian is when things didn't go her way, and Lindsay was still trying to play Rebellious Wasp to tick off mommy and daddy or needy straight so Brian would sleep with her again.

Guess her getting her rocks off with the intern excuses her bad parenting of course still need to know what Lindsay was doing instead of being with her children?

Roy being tossed into the story now that is quite interesting considering his prejudice against anyone who is gay, I want to find out what happens when they talk to that scumbag lawyer and why they went to Roy to get that paperwork filed.
Why would he help Mel?
Did she pay him, how much and did the money come from Brian without his knowledge?
Glad this legal battle will have to take place in Pittsburgh the are some questions the girls will have to answer and this time it will be in front of a judge.
Lindsay works at an art store not a gallery and Mel's job is hanging on by a thread, so I get the feeling Brian is supporting them all I doubt Michael is paying any support.
More questions springing up about Mel, Lindsay and their actions prior to moving to Canada and after.

I knew there had to be a way for Brian to get his parental rights back he was tricked by Mel and the sleazy attorney because he was trying to do the right thing for his son.
I always wondered why Mel ran to Brian to help her get rid of the French guy Lindsay almost married when her name is still on the house and she is still paying the bills despite the fact that they are apart, plus if Lindsay needed help she could always go to Brian she had no problem asking him for help paying for daycare when she had to go back to work after Mel moved out...hmmmm perhaps Brad should look into that too??
That never quite made sense to me Mel always touted herself as being stronger than Brian, I thought she had the bigger dick so why couldn't she get rid of the French guy without bringing Brian in??
Michael living in delusional land again thinking after years of flaunting in front of Gus that he is a better Daddy, that now because he brings Gus to Brian wrapped in a bow that Brian will just be so grateful that he and Michael will hook up at long last?!? Boy Please Get A Life!!
He has a better chance at getting his Ass kicked then landing in Brian's bed with or without his clothes brrp...I just threw up in my mouth ;)
Mel and Lindsay are about to learn what it feels like to feel the wrath of one Brian Aiden Kinney and I don't feel sorry for them at all.
That moment between Brian and Jacob was so moving can't wait for them to have more with Gus as well.
I hope Brad has a private investigator cause there are some people in Canada who would love to talk to him/her.

Justin going to Canada was the wake up he needed to face what...who he has been avoiding for twelve years, perhaps this time they can have a mature relationship without 'The Family' getting in the way. (Just need to talk to Daphne before she tries to cream Brian)
I am not surprised by Mel's reaction she never liked the fact that she came second to Brian in Lindsay's eyes, instead of being mature and talking about the situation with her partner she just made Brian the villain in her story and that turned her into a bitter, vindictive shrew.
While dismissing the fact that Gus plays a factor in this she is using him as nothing more than a possession, she doesn't love Gus the way a parent should makes her and Lindsay no better than Jack or Joan.
Lindsay wants someone to take care of her and she will stay with the devil himself if it means she gets her creature comforts.
The fact that Gus has been missing for a week has not cause them any concern makes me think that they are seriously hiding something which whiny Michael knows about and he is helping them??
Michael isn't even worth a paragraph of course it is only the third chapter as the story goes along I am sure I will have a few choice words for that Asshat.
In this fic I hope Mel, Lindsay and Michael pay for their stupidity :)
