Love love LOVE Brian's now-parents. They are such special people! Also love how Brian and Justin gave them the truth without going into all of the details, LOL

As for Ben... you know... THAT actually makes sense! If one really stops to think about the whole Brian-Justin-Ben triangle, it makes a helluva lot more sense than a Michael/Ben alliance. Let's rationalize this a bit...

Lifetime# 1:

Ben was just a trick, same as Justin was SUPPOSED to be. Ben is probably thinking 'Why Justin and not me? What was so damn special about the kid?' Since no one knows what happened the morning after their tryst at the White Party, the ultimate fuck-off is open to interpretation and speculation.

By the time Ben arrived on the scene in Michael's company, Brian and Justin were going through their own non-relationship troubles. Of course, this can be looked at in so many ways but from Ben's POV, the fact that B & J broke up shortly after his arrival, then got back together, only to break up again would only spell how incompatible they are from the outsider's point of view.

Ben also would have noticed that while B&J had issues, it was also a mature relationship in that Brian was never made to feel like he was having to be Parent, Teacher, husband and lover to Justin. Whereas Ben often had to be ALL those things to Michael. No wonder he wanted a different life! Which brings us to...

Lifetime#2: 

Ben realizes that Michael is a waste of space and time in his life. So he does what he can to free up the one person he feels is worth his time...Brian. Only it didn't work that way since through EVERY life, Brian and Justin are together. 

Seeing that, he decides to go back to the 'best friend' to keep his link to Brian alive. In that respect, it seems that he and Michael had more in common than a little bit. As long as Brian talks, sees and acknowledges him in some way, Ben would have felt important. So here we are at...

Lifetime#3:

Sure Justin has a life that he didn't live where Ben may have hit on him. However, it doesn't change the fact that Ben is neither Brian or Justin's type for more than a one-night stand. I suspect that Ben is also 'teaches' in bed... 'Insert tab a into slot B...go left, right, left, in, out, in...etc' at which point dirty talk- or lack thereof- would have had Brian and/or Justin producing a ballgag since his incessant instructional chatter would have messed up the whole idea of boinking without a conscience. Personally I would have gagged him anyway but that's another situation entirely, LOL

Anyway, out of the entire group, Ben is the ONLY other person to have Brian sexually. He knows what the man is capable of. After two lifetimes of the Whining Windbag Michael, I really can't blame him for wanting to finally get a piece of Brian. Sadly, he miscalculated the idea of fate and destiny. Also apparent is that Ben is adopting the Michael-ism cycle of whine-insult- tantrum-stalk-pout-shout-REPEAT, and thinks it will get him what he wants. I can't wait for that hard fall he's bucking for!

Hmmmm. Interesting theory re: Brian and Ben. kinda creeps me out a bit seeing how Ben is behaving in this life, but yea...I can see it. Now this is a plot twist that could go many ways! 

So glad Justin is bak now. Glad he stayed even after sleeping.

And how thrilling was it for him to meet Brian's parents! He wanted brian to experience all the good things that proper parents had to offer. the yare so excited over a new grandson and Justin! really happy form Brian in this life for that reason alone, never mind teh rest!
