I can’t tell you the giggles that occurred during that last conversation. Especially as a mom that has had that conversation with a five year old. But then again, I am a woman, so it was a tad different. *giggles*
Midget is what I call my nephew. He absolutely loves it for some reason

Author's Response:
LC,
Keep reading. That isn't the last conversation about 'parts'. This story was a lot of fun to write. TAG and I both have sons. She has one and I have three.

Lol, omg, Brian giving a birds and the bees talk. At least he didn't ask in the store. :D He's having a lot of "fun" cleaning up after the little tyke.
Author's Response:
gotb30,

I just love hearing Gus talk. He's so cute and his dialogue is so kid like. It's nice that Brian doesn't yell at him like he sometimes did to Justin. Which brings me to - have Brian and Justin met? You've done a great job.
Author's Response:
YumYum,
Brian knows what it feels like to be yelled at and he wouldn't want a kid to feel that way.
Brian and Justin meet in chapter 5.

LMAO that conversation with Brian and Gus at the end was brilliant. It was the perfect question from a five-year-old - and while Brian may have thought it was early, it was sp apt for a little boy, who has probably never been around another man to ask. I loved how uncomfortable Brian felt, but how he didn't brush Gus off and answered him as honestly as he could.
I so knew he'd end up taking the kid shopping, we couldn;t have him looking like he belonged to Michael LOL
Author's Response:
Sally,
That just seemed like a very logical question for Gus to ask. Poor Brian was kind of thrown but he handled it well.
We can't have any child that hangs with Brian dressing like the weasel.

The thingy talk was hilarious; I could only imagine how impressed Gus must have been by it.
It's also funny how Brian is trying to deal with a messy but adorable kid without getting angry/loud.
Author's Response:
SNO,
A kid that never saw an adult would certainly have questions.
Brian wouldn't want any child to have to endure what he did growing up.

As much as I love Gus being Sonnyboy, hearing Brian refer to him as the Midget warms my heartâ¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
Love this story!!
Author's Response:
krussel,
Since the story is AU we wanted Brian to have a different pat name for Gus.
Glad you love the story.

Well Brian is sure learning a lot. Gus is the cutest! Of course he's going to get into things if Brian is going to sleep. Lol Can't wait for more!
Author's Response:
Glo,
All things considered Gus is pretty good, he stayed in the kitchen to eat.
There is more fun stuff coming up. Five year olds can be very interesting.
