Thanks for this terrific chapter. I have been waiting and waiting
and waiting for Brian to get the results of THE TEST. Well – it was
worth waiting. Everyone but Brian was sure Gus was his son.
Now it is official and I am so happy that Brian is happy, that Gus is
happy, and Justin and Molly are happy. It was a wonderful
moment when Justin read the results. To top it off, Gus is now
calling Justin, Papa. That was just terrific.

First of all, I'm shocked that Jack/Joanie gave Brian any birthday present at all! Wow, how disappointing for him...Absolutely loved the conversation between Brian, Emmett & Deb. They were so sweet to him, saying yeah duh, it's about time and thank God you found someone! Loved it.
Gus was so cute with the video and finding out that Brian is indeed his daddy...and asking Justin to be his other daddy...awwwwwww the feels!

The sweetness factor in this chapter was off the charts! I'm so glad that it's been confirmed that Brian is Gus's daddy. Of course there could be no other outcome! What a wonderful family these four make!
Happy that even with doubts creeping in now and then Brian thinks them through and doesn't run for the hills.

Gus will now have a life that every child deserves. He'll have two loving, caring fathers.
As much as Brian professed not to need anyone, the support he has gotten, from not only Justin but from his Liberty Ave family has made him very comfortable with the way his life is now heading.

I've been putting off reading this just because I'm in the midst of reading several others. I was forcing myself not to start any others. Well, I brok that a week or so ago with another one, but was dtermined to wait once again. Obviously my will power is for shit!
So freaking glad I did! It is seriously and amazing story! Admittedly, I've been smeaking in reading time while I've been at the office. NOT a good idea at all. While the lovely sex scenes were ddamned hot at all, those were not the ones to make trouble for me. Jeebus christmas some of those scenes were funny as hell. It took all my self control not to burst out laughing at some of them. The zoo scene and Gus's reaction to the elk in particular had me snorting out loud, then had to fake cough. And all the pracitising that Gus was encouraging the boys to do after the Kissingtower. Dear lord...holding back fits of giggles.
Now...we all knew of course that Brian was the dad, but to have it confirmed...what a weight off his shoulders. Joyful joyful times!!
Hopefully Michael doens't cause too many problems. Not sure his time in Portland will last long and wonder what his reaction will be when/if he gets back. He better not hurt our boys in any way, and if he does, that he gets a SERIOUS ass kicking!
So glad I started this. so glad you, as usual, keep this regualrly updated.

So glad you are enjoying this story.
We were trying to keep it light and happy although there are some more serious parts.
Writing the Gus scenes has been a blast, especially since we both have kids, whose antics always make for great stories.
Only a couple of chapters left, but they will be good ones.
Weasel is unnecessary so he will be staying in Portland. Everyone else is thrilled for the couple.

This has to be the sweetest chapter yet. To learn that Brian wanted nothing more than to be Gus' dad and to be together with Justin. And how adorable of Gus to be so happy that he has a Daddy B'ine and a Daddy Jussen. I don't know how you'll manage to outdo yourself with the next chapter.

Great chapter! Amazing news, even if it was quite obvious as Gus has so much in common with Brian; but it's official now.
It's also great that Brian was able to talk to Deb and Emmett, and that they told him how changed/happy he was.
The intro was surprising: I was sure the parents wouldn't have agreed to buy a toy. The fact that the ad was good and the toy not that good, didn't stop Brian to work in advertising,, or was it his motivation?

Brian needed time for the idea that this could be a good thing to gel in his mind before he was ready for the answer.
The fact that his real friends are happy for him definitely showed him that this was the direction his life should take.
This was probably the motivation that showed him that anything could be sold with the right advertising.
