Joan talking to Jennifer could greatly help to mend the fences between Brian and Joan.

I can see Brian and Joan trying to be friends not too close but more than acquaintances. It's going to take a while for more. Jennifer is definitely someone should speak with.

Great chapter. What a terrific update. Love all the twists and turns that you keep coming up with in each chapter. Let's me know you are feeling better or at least I hope so. Thanks for updating. So many writers are not doing any updates right now. I know RL, etc. get in the way, but unlike you and Ashita who have given a reason for not being able to write all the time, they just leave the stories WIP. Another writer is suffering migraines so that too is understandable. Not really complaining just stating how I feel. Take care and feel good.
