I physically ache for our Justin. I often wondered if Ethan was a narcissist this puts the character into complete perspective for me. So many of the things I hated about this story arc completely made sense put into this perspective.
It also has me looking at some of my own relationships. Toxicity comes in many forms. And yes I've had a few narcissist in my life. Only I didn't keep them there long, fortunately.
Knowing that the author has bared her soul in the process of writing this has me aching for her as well. Bravo for having the courage to put this out there and to survive heal and Thrive.
This is truly a brilliant story that had me crying and cheering in the end. It reminds me of RuPaul's mantra "if you can't love yourself how the hell you gonna love somebody else". We all want that white night to save us all, but to truly save yourself is more important and long lasting.
Thank you TAG for this wonderful work of art and slice of your life/piece of your soul.

Sorry Tag. Didn't realise it was so bad for you. I hope you didn't feel I was showing any disrespect to your own personal experience. I'm glad that you are past that & hope you are now okay mentally and emotionally. And agree it's a shame your abuser didn't get his full comeuppance, despite all your efforts. Maybe one day the gods of fate will hand his fate over to Karma & let her have at him!!

I think I'm going to have to put this aside for now, at least until I know there is a positive change to the hell that has become Justin's life. I just hate the way this story is making me feel every day now, not to mention the quite savage thoughts and deeds I am imagining with regards Ethan! I so hope the ends will justify the means when revenge is finally Justin's. Amazing story writing as always, despite the awful context.

This story is incredibly disconcerting but strangely also very compelling. I'm not really liking Justin that much, which is weird for me, he just seems so "it's all about me" -ish. I'm trying to put it down to his unhappiness, immaturity, naivety and youth, not to mention Ethan's cloying possessiveness warping his sense of self. They are both leaving me pretty cold at the moment, but of course I am all for Brian so maybe not surprising that I have a healthy level of disdain going on. That being said, I found myself compulsively "page turning" this and am so looking forward to the next chapter.
My longest review ever, which just goes to show this story has really had an effect on me... It is so very disturbing! Amazing writing.

My heart hurts so much for Justin after reading this, he was so desperate to feel loved and cared for, I am not surprised he fell for Ethan. The fact the young musician mentioned his art must have meant a lot to him and made him feel like a person and not just a Brian Kinney sex toy :) Very excited to see where this goes.

Thank you. I agree that this is a pivotal moment in the story of Brian and Justin‘s live, but it always struck me as a bit odd. Maybe it’s my own personal background, but I always saw Ethan’s pursuit of Justin as sinister rather than sweet. Thanks for reading, I’ll try to get you to the HEA at the end as quickly as possible. Great start to what I can tell will be a terrific story (happy endings, make my happy). I love all your stories and if writing from the heart is what is best at the time so be it. Maybe once this one over your mood will shift.

At first I thought hey, a Mikey story. Then you gave me a clue that this is Justin and his Ethan phase. You'll set Justin straight, pardon the pun. Now about your light-hearted, sexy vibe. Think heat and where you'd like to be to get away from it. Naked Brian? Nude Justin? As for the banner, I've never seen a bad picture of Randy so it's gonna be hard.
