Lindsay really thinks she has power but being a slit isn't power it's just sex without love which Mel has to deal with for years before she wised up and closed the bank accounts to Lindsay's greedy hands.
Michael and Lindsay don't get to sit next to Brian while he goes through this moment and they use the information to for their own greedy ends.

She does realize Gus and Jenny will be allowed to speak in court right?
Mel should've dumped ice water on them but I doubt Lindsay would've noticed a difference and Michael would've went whiny to Brian.
I do hope Daphne's office is somewhere with really good security and camera with audio?
