Ben talking things over with Brian and Justin is good because at the moment they are in the same boat and having some help and occasional advice.

Telling Emmett and Ted is good because I don't think they will take Michael's side in this nor will they take the girl's side either.

Deb will be on Michael's side because that is her son.

Brian, Justin and Ven are on the kids side in this and can't spend their time catering to the Kids pretending to be Grown Ups.

It's so good that the girls are willing to let Ben help.  I think seeing where Emmett and Ted will stand with this will make things easier.  Mikey doesn't have a leg to stand on.
