I just read the three 'date' chapters. They were so perfect. You have a knack for writing the newness and awareness of them discovering love - or in Brian's case, the realization of it. The day and the evening was so exciting to read. Tears in a few places... the background you created for Brian. And yes, I can see him - for all his bravado - never trusting Lindsay or Michael with the revelation. I'm so happy he trusted Justin with it.
One of my guilty pleasures when reading QaF stories, is Justin remembering the prom. You wrote it beautifully. I could almost hear the 'awe' in Justin's voice when he said: I remember.
I'm so glad Dijon set Connor straight. What an arrogant sleaze. And I smile thinking of Brian's 'dressing down' to Connor. Touche!
And yes, the someone/someones are going to have the hell of a vicious blond before long.

Justin remembers! I loved when Brian kissed him, pulled back, went to kiss him again but paused, just looking into his eyes before he kissed him again. The thoughts you could tell were swirling around in Mr. Kinney's head. And Justin gasping that he remembers, swoon.
And I love Dijon filling in Connor, who I admit, I don't particularly care for, LOL!

I really liked the amusement park part of the date. I can see Brian being a roller coaster virgin and how much fun the two would have. The dinner and dancing later - in my opinion - was just gravy. Lol. TAG

Wow, this chapter was amazing! This is truly a first date to remember and I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm jealous of Justin😊. The amusement park scene was awesome. I love Brian and Justin like this, with no "family" interference They can simply be themselves and that is a wonderful thing. I adore Alphonse and Gene and enjoy their interaction with B&J. Wow. I do mean wow. The time they spent at an amusement park was amazing. Then the meeting with Dijon and how Dijon let's Conner know he doesn't stand a chance with Justin. Like I say Wow.

Chelle, this chapter was pure brilliance from start to finish. I can't tell you how much I loved it, or highlight all the reasons. If I do that, we'll be here all day!
I simply loved their time at the amusement park. I can see how a man that always is in control, and feels the need for it, would be a bit out of his element suspended in the air, dependent on the reliability of mechanics. That was fun. And, I think he enjoyed it!
As for the rest, the emotions, and how you portrayed them are perfect as usual. justin getting his memory back was the icing on the cake. How I wish we would have seen this explored more fully in canon. But, you did such a fabulous job with that here.

Oh my goodness Nichelle! How beautiful and how poignant of Dijon to explain their history to Connor..I was crying...that would have been a lovely thing to have seen with our own eyes, I wish they did that in the series. A Day To Remember indeed...perfect!

Amazing chapter!
I loved how they are connected during this very long day.
I main thing is that Brian finally realizes who Justin is for him : someone who let him be free to be himself and loving him without asking something back in return, except love.
I also loved Dijon's part and the way Connor was put in his place.
So happy Justin got his memories back.
