It's a great chapter, with a big surprise at the end, some angst in the beginning and a new dynamic between father and son.
Can't wait to see how the mother will react to Brian.

I think this may be one of my favourite chapters, even though it did make me mad on SO many levels. Firstly, you don't just take someone's kid while they're sleeping. Even if you are their grandma or your intentions are good... Secondly - THAT BOOK... that was no coincidence, she truly believes that Lily is missing out on something because she doesn't have a mom. I hated how she asked Lily that and referred to Brian by his name, and not Daddy when talking to the small child.
Eric's dad, bless him. I think he loves his son, but seeing his wife so upset put him in a difficult position. I do think he wants to try. At least, I hope he does.
Lily playing celebrity rehab with her toys was literally one of the funniest Lily moments. I could totally see her doing that and Emmett being all WHOOPS about it lol.
I'm glad Eric has Amanda. He needs someone on his side (blood family, I mean, obvs he has Brian) and omg, Lily's reaction after his mom asks about missing out on having a woman in the house... how she wanted to go with Eric, even though he was just going upstairs. It's like, who was she comforting, herself or her papa???
AND THEN BRIAN <3 Yay that he surprised them. Eric needs him right now. And look how happy Lily was to see her daddy :) Watch out, Louisa :p

I have to admit that if I woke up and couldn't find my child I'd be upset too. Would it have hurt to leave a note. We see that Eric's mother is not much of a mother at all. Lily would happily tell her she has a mother who gave birth to her in her life, and she also has two fathers who adore her and want her to be happy. At least Eric's father is trying, and his sister is in his corner. If his mother never comes around it will be her loss. But Brian will be there for him and that's what makes this the fantastic story that it is.

Loved it! I feel so sad for Eric...he's having such a hard time with his parents. What a sweet conversation though between Eric & his dad....perfect timing jumping in the ocean lol Christ that was funny! And Lily, that kid is the best. Hysterical that she was playing Celebrity Rehab with her dolls!!! Laughed right out loud at work! Eric's mom really needs a lesson on unconditional love parents are supposed to have for their children. Totally unreasonable. And then Brian surprises them, yay! Omg the next chapter must be intense, can't wait! Welcome back hun, great job !
