I have faith in Brian, just hope Justin does

Author's Response:

Fantgirl,

Both Brian and Justin know that they are stronger together than apart.

They love and trust each other.

Please Brian, don't destroy everything you have. I can't stop reading and it's 1am.

Author's Response:

Brian has a lot to think about.

Thanks

I'm copying in the reviews I posted on MW from 4 May into the wee hours of 5 May for chapters 9-27. For this chapter, I'm copying in my initial review and your response as well.

-----------

I just reread the first 9 chapters to refresh myself on this story. With the marathon and then never-ending illness, I kept falling further and further behind.

I couldn't remember what Michael did to make himself persona non grata with the family. How could I forget that, lol?

Served Mel right if she needed brain bleach after walking in on Brian spanking Justin years before. [I, of course, would have gotten as close to the action as I could. ;) ] Why she and Linds (and other members of the family) thought it was okay to walk in without knocking is beyond me. Thanks for addressing that rudeness!

Forward, ho! Maybe I can manage another couple of chapters tonight. :)

Review & Response from 9 Mar:

That move to Canada never made sense; it's not as if Melanie and Lindsay's underlying problems would just disappear with the move. They left their support system behind and had no guarantee of jobs, particularly since Canadians (and legal residents) would have first right at job openings.

Plus, the move was really cruel toward Brian, who was just bonding with Gus. I certainly agree that Lindsay pushed Justin toward New York when he wasn't ready; one positive review does not a success make. Lindsay took away three of Brian's linchpins: Justin, Gus, and herself. That left only the so-called best friend who, even if he were a true friend, couldn't be all things to Brian.

Lindsay definitely protested too much about being lesbian after the Sam Auerbach incident. Clearly bisexual.

I think Gus needs to move in with his dads, Mother Melanie, sister, and little brother. Any plans to bring that about?

Yikes, now I'll have to wait for the next chapter to hopefully clear up some of the angst. Brian better do a good job with that thinking cap!

Author's Response:

Them leaving for Canada really sucked and it was hard on Brian.

Lindsay had her own agenda and thinks of herself first.

Some of your questions will be answered soon.

The next five chapters have already been written.

Thanks for reviewing
