Author's Response: I think Lindsay just wanted to believe Gus would be more open with her, but he’s definitely got both of his moms firmly on his side now. And to be fair, Gus had intentionally not given Lindsay and Melanie any details, so they didn’t have a lot to go on besides him being stubborn. All is well now! Lindsay does seem rather dense but Mel catches on fast. At least Gus has allies in Jennifer, Justin and Brian.
