I'm happy Brian so off-handedly told Justin about the cancer, like it was nothing to worry about ~ after ten years, it probably isn't. But yeah, they have to talk this time around.
Drew being happy about the baby was nice.
Lindsay is really cooking her goose. It's bad enough that she was trying to get Jenny so she could get the money. Her and Michael are kind of cut from the same cloth.
I think she made about the biggest error of her life trying to take on those Social Workers. And what lawyer does she have??? I don't see Nancy helping her on this one.

The sweet warm love couple and family moments in the chapter are so beautiful and to juxtapose that with a complete breakdown of a couple and a family -- nicely done!! Lindsay is the perfect flawed inconsistent character here showing the worst side of a mother. Mel is about the same but her move to put Jenny with Justin redeems her some.
