Oh, no no no; don't go Brian, it's a trap; if Michael really wanted to be a best friend, he wouldn't deny Luke's existence and wouldn't have sent authorities to check his "habits".

Author's Response:

It's a trap alright :(

More will be up soon :)

Hi again! Thanks for your answers to my reviews. You've made me blush. No, I haven't read your story before (haha), but I'm in love with your story, addicted to it, and I think much often about your characters, what they go and went through, how they behave and how they will behave. So, despite the new chapter for "Back for good" where things happens which I didn't expected to, in this chapter it happens nearly as I expected. That's why I can't say so much about it. The way Brian talks about Justin to Luke is as I expected it to be... cute, beautiful, full of love and pride, but also still from Brian's point of view... full of his own insecurities, fears what could have happened if he had told Justin and mistrust in what they could have archieved as a couple and as a family. But we already knew this...

How the bitch (I can't call her any longer by her name) manages to persuade him to give the "friendship" with Michael another chance, is just as I imagined. It's awful, but she gets Brian in a very weak moment, which you convincingly portrayed in your wonderful writing style. He's very lonely and vulnerable. This is also written very convincingly. And you should not forget. He was pregnant, he gave birth to his son ... According to my opinion, this makes you even more vulnerable. In any case, it has happened to me. After the birth of my first son, I could hardly bear to watch scenes of violence in films. I mean, watching violence is never nice, but scenes that I was able to watch earlier and now again were almost unbearable for me in the first two years after giving birth. So, in my opinion, Brian's wish for harmony with his "friends" is totally understandable.

Although I know what will happen, I'm looking so much forward to Wednesday! And I'm so glad to already know, that Brian won't lose Luke to those pathetic idiots! Warmest regards!

Author's Response:

Well, I am glad that I was at least able to surprise you with one of the two new chapters ;)

Yes, Brian is very insecure, especially when it comes to relationships and commitment. He tried to hide it behind a cold, often seemingly heartless exterior, but I think it was really obvious that a lot of times it was just Brian acting it up, so nobody would know how much he really cared about all his friends and his makeshift family.

I agree about him being very vulnerable and lonely right now and to me that's one of the very reasons why I think he would have fallen for Lindsay's ploy in the first place. He has already lost Justin (due to his own doing) and his best friend in Michael and now he at least wants to keep his Wendy in his life and wants to have a relationship with the mother of his child. He knows that things won't be as they have been before, but I think it's understandable that he would want to salvage what he could of that friendship.

As for Lindsay: She is a bitch! No other word for it! She knows about Brian's insecurities and played on them to get him to do what she wanted him to do. She manipulated him so easily and he never even realised it :( Poor guy!

I also agree with what you said about him having given birth to Luke. Pregnancy changes you and in Brian it brought along big changes. Some we already see, some that will come over the next couple of years and that we can see by now in Back for Good. There is no way Brian wouldn't have changed after carrying a child for 9 months and giving birth to his baby.

Yes, we're getting to the really bad part :( More will be up soon and then we can all hate Michael and Lindsay together :D

Author's Response:

Nope, she never is and something bad is definitely coming our way :(
