When I read the beginning of Ecclesiastes, it reverberated in my head to the movie Footloose. I'm sure you've seen it. It was the debate of a student with the school board, regarding being able to have a school dance. But This? So much more meaningful.

I'm so glad you skipped forward a few years, and we got to age of consent. I have a feeling that after they go their separate ways, the years will fly by before they realize it, and Justin will be back. Granted, some times will seem to drag by, but they'll both be ready when they reunite.

I was looking for something new to read, and came upon this. I can't believe I've never read this! It is so, so good.
I have a feeling: “I’d like to be your friend too.” will definitely change before the end of this story. Brian, of course, is still cynical, but at 18, he's still young enough to change his hard demeanor.
