The fact that Justin got his memories back was the ultimate icing on the cake. That couldn't have been better.

Thank you for this story. It was definitely a labor of love on your part. I'm actually speechless about what else to say.

Just thank you.

Hugs,

<3 Cathy

So happy Justin's paintings were returned, with no damage. Gotta love Mrs. Anernathy. So happy she showed up too.

I love that Justin has learned new ways express and do his art. Art makes him whole.

The road our boys fought in the story was long and torturous, but it's come full circle.

What a chapter! I love the evolution of our boys in this story. And how they are finally accepting their lives as it is now.

Real life can really kick a person down, which you've given lots in these boys lives, but I see them rising up over them, and finally getting through them.

Classic Mikey ~ any time he's not the first to know something in Brian's life, or things cleared with his approval, well, they just shouldn't be.

Congrats, Justin! Way to go with getting back into your art. Justin needs art almost as much as breathing.

I've known someone who suffered with some PTSD, but not to the degree that Brian has. It's really too bad that he had such reservations about psychologists, because both Brian and Justin would have really benefited from seeing one years ago. And actually, with Brian's home life, he should have been in therapy just for that.

As I said earlier, PTSD is something that started way back with the bashing. And it's gotten worse with everything that's happened recently.

I'm glad Rob is around, and hopefully will knock some sense into Brian, and make him face what he needs to do. No more avoidance.

Right now, it's a good thing Rob's able to help Justin, since Brian isn't able to openly discuss things.

What a royal mess! I really feel for Justin. Thank heavens Rob's on his way.

And Brian? WTH??

I totally understand Brian's aversion of not getting medical help until it was too late. I do that all the time, and my kids get so frustrated. Brian needs to learn he has to take care of himself, if not for himself, then for Justin.

From the time our guys met each other, they seemed connected. Justin always got whatever vision Brian wanted in an ad. They're perfect together.

Between them, they will help each other heal and grow stronger.

After Jennifer betrayed Justin's confidence by telling Craig, she realized how wrong she was and made leaps toward being a good mother. One of the best. She grew to really care for Brian, and saw him as the good person he is, and a great partner for Justin. This trip to NY shows their growth.

Real life can be a bitch, and these boys have it in spades.

Once again, Rob's my hero. He's in my Top 5 favorite OC characters. Well, maybe Top 3.

I appreciate Rob. He's such a good friend.

Memories can be wonderful and beneficial. However, they can hinder and be detrimental. I'm living proof.

Finally, they're together and discussing things that need to be worked through.

Touch is a powerful communication. It conveys emotions like affection and support. It can be intense, and it forms a strong relationship between people.

I've always believed Brian could be so much than the cynical, non-caring person he played in canon. Although, a lot of that is probably because of what he's gone through, and is more easily able to talk about things.

I LOVE stories where Justin remembers prom! That and parental rights. My top two faves.

Poor Justin. Going through all this again.

Gotta love - NOT - Joan and Claire. I liked the "who birthed me" - no mention of 'this is my mother.'

Rob is such a great character and addition to your story. A super guy. He even fit in with the family.

Justin has gone through PT before, knowing the strenuous pain it brings. I hope things progress well and fast for him.

At least Brian is realizing that he has a few good friends. He needs to learn to let them help a little and maybe depend on them. I'm surprised he talked about the bashing with Rob. That's big! And Michael has turned out to be a good friend.

But Justin is getting stronger. Healing. Finally. Will things look up now?

Thank heavens! Maybe now my anxiety will settle down. I was getting very tense! My wondering about Justin and amnesia, well, now I know for sure he remembers.

I might have to quit for the night and resume tomorrow. However, I'm not sure I can quit right now.

BTW, thanks for all your help with my questions before I started reading this awesome story!!

I thought Justin didn't lose his memory? Did I misread something?

I can't believe Brian is letting his health decline. It's probably depression. We definitely need a happy chapter!

A CLIFFHANGER? Pray tell... How did Brian screw up? What did he do? I hope Ben and Michael get there soon.

So much going on. Brian really needs to let someone shoulder part of this. What a very sad Christmas.

Has he changed? Will he lean on Debbie?

I'm sure Brian still harbors some PTSD from the prom, and now Justin being hurt again... At least we know he doesn't have amnesia.
