I really enjoyed this story. Part of me wishes that Sandy‘s story was still posted so that I could compare and contrast, but part of me is glad it’s not because it would’ve made me sad. I have read some stories where it is plausibly written that Brian and Justin do not end up together. But that’s obviously not the ending that I hope for, so I don’t really read them if I know that ahead of time.
Author's Response: A lot of viewers of QAF were highly invested in the Brian/Justin relationship. I'm one of them, so my stories always end up with them together. Glad you enjoyed this version.

I'm surprised Craig actually came. That's one in his favor. After that, the man just went downhill quickly. Why couldn't he have just gone in and sat down?
I wonder if Justin will still want to go on lunch dates with the man? If it was me, I think I would be a little reluctant to go. If he could not accept his new "family," was he really accepting Justin?
I do have to say how much better I like this Dartmouth story compared to the other one. Because of that one, I've been leery of reading this. I didn't get very far in the sequel before I quit reading it. I do have the other story on a Word doc, but I've never gone back and tried to reread it.
This one was really good.

Granted, both Brian and Craig seem to be putting in the effort for this to work. However, I'm still skeptical. To me, all it would take is if Craig heard a degrading comment about Justin's sexuality, and all crap would hit the fan.

Justin seems kind of confused about everything happening. But I think he better realize that no matter whose home he moves into, Craig is going to raise cane. Craig doesn't want him in Pittsburgh. Period. He wants a son he can be proud of ~ and that means Justin should be at Dartmouth.
I have to wonder what Craig expected Justin to do after college. Would he "allow" Justin to live in Pittsburgh then?
