Poor Gus. And there were lots of intriguing vague things that could go many different directions in Justin‘s responses.

Oh, I’m so hoping Justin busts Greg being nasty to Gus and calls him out.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your comments.

I’m so sad for everyone right now. Anxious to find out what happened with Brian and Justin, and what Gus isn’t saying about his moms.

Ah yes! All's well when it ends well, which you did a marvelous job at that. This was a very good story. Brian was kind of a dick when the story started, but I knew you were just setting up the outline. But between the no contact with Gus, and how he seemed besotted with Greg. The fear of another person that Justin would have to get out of the way. But I was fooled by he fact that Greg was an attorney.

The school situation was tense for a bit. But it seemed that Jennings was wanting to stand up for Jason. That witch of a secretary should be fired for letting Jason go out of the office. Thank god Justin thought to stand up to Jennings.

For a second there, I was thinking that Mr. Goodman was aware of what Jason was doing. I really hope the kid gets some jail time. The fact that he was selling on school grounds, right there it's a major felony. (At least in the States, it is.)

If there are any other prefects and friends of Jason doing the same thing, I think they had better all think twice. However, something like this... I'm sure all the high school lockers with be searched.

VERY GOOD STORY. I'm so glad I read this. Thank you for posting your work on KD!

Are you thinking of writing any other stories, or are you just gonna stick with Sunshine Files?

Hugs, Cathy

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your comments on this story. I really appreciate the feedback. I really only write in the Sunshine Files now.

Well, one chapter left. As far as both Lindsay and Greg, we've seen the last of them. I'm sure all that's left is speculation. It would be funny to see Greg try to sue Brian. That sounds like a comedy situation.

Apparently, Lindsay's going to leave Mel. I would throw a hissy fit about her living at Britin, and I've already voiced that objective.

So we have school left to wrap up. Could get tense.

Dr. Marla seems great. She had a good rapport with Gus. I'm just glad that Gus opened up as much as he did.

I'm kind of nervous about that meth or cocaine, whatever Gus is carrying around. Very bad move on Gus' part.

Geez, I hope Jason gets caught while attacking either Gus or Ravii. I feel for both of them. But what can 7th-grade students do against a senior? But Gus didn't tell Justin that.

Holy criminy! Lindsay wants to live at Britin... without Mel. That seems to me that would lead to all sorts of problems. Especially now that Brian and Justin are gonna give their relationship a second chance. They don't need Lindsay casting doubts and whatnot.

Also, Lindsay might just want to live in that big, beautiful house, when the house in Toronto isn't much by any standard.

I think both Emmett and Ted would accept Justin with open arms. Debbie too. He might get some flak from Debbie for not staying in touch, but she'd just be happy he was back and with Brian.

Well, they connected on a level new to both of them.

I'm happy for Gus. He wanted this so much. (Maybe he borrowed Cupid's arrow?)

Whoa! Lindsay has all these plans going around her head. I'm not sure Melanie would want to live in Pittsburgh again. Also, I believe Melanie would have to take classes after being gone for as long, and coming back from a different country.

Then there's the thing that Melanie would want to take Gus home. It's a sticky situation.

Then, the flip side, if Lindsay wants to move to Pittsburgh, but Mel doesn't, would Lindsay decide to come alone? Would she want to stay at Britin? Oooh, what a mess.

I loved the guys' second evening together. I'm still impressed with Brian. I'm glad he's putting himself out there for Justin. I think that's the best way for them to move forward.

When they were going into Babylon, my stomach clenched. I was so worried that Greg would be there and cause a scene.

Well, their evening ended on a promising note.

I wonder if it will be the new psychologist whom Gus will confess to about Bramley.

I wish Gus would carry through with his talk to Lindsay and apologize. I do kind of wonder what Melanie's attitude will be like when Lindsay tells her about how good Gus is doing.

Who knows how to grill? That might be entertaining. I'm a little confused on the time and date. It seems Lindsay should have left already.

Apparently, Justin didn't have to be at the opening.

Nice date. When Justin was hoping it wasn't the diner, I had this flash in my mind that it would have been funny if Brian slowed down and looked like he was going to turn into McDonald's. Then Justin would think Brian had really changed. :D

Their conversation was good. Brian bared some truths, which will go along way with Justin. The chaste kiss and no begging to go to the loft and finish the date there, was a wise move on Brian's part.

When the topic came up about the loft being for sex, I wonder if Justin is afraid that Brian will still want to trick.

That was a little tense, what with Justin taking off without saying goodbye to anyone.

Congrats to Brian on taking the first step. I think this will be good for Justin to learn the new and improved Brian Kinney.

Keeping my fingers crossed for them.

Well, our boys are moving forward. Hallelujah! I really hope there isn't any more strife between them, but this is Brian and Justin; I don't think they can live together without a little bickering.

I'm still wondering about Greg. He just doesn't seem like the kind to just go away.

Is Gus gonna ever tell any of the adults about the guy at his new school, and fess up that he was pushed into the tree?

Gus is doing everything in his power to help Brian and Justin's relationship move forward. I get such a chuckle every time he does something. But where does 'The Simpsons' come into play? It's almost like he's known Justin forever.

Brian sure did a 180 on his actions and attitude. It was so quick that it seems strange.

I was proud of Justin for standing up to Brian. Give him something back for all the times Brian hurt him...  And then... Yowza! Justin broks. At least he got out a few past hurts.

I'm afraid that Greg will do something toward Justin in retaliation. Hopefully, it's not like waiting in the parking lot and revving his car. *shudder*

I'm trying to figure out if Lindsay's being there is a good idea. Lindsay has a way about her to want to interfere and do what she thinks is best. Especially asking: You brought a trick into your home? Condescending right away.

Hopefully, Gus' little plan works some magic.

Let's hope the MRI is clear. I know how Gus was feeling. The last time I had an MRI, I had double pneumonia, and let's just say I lost it inside the tube. Kicked my feet to get their attention. I just couldn't breathe.

I liked how Brian and Justin were both melancholy, remembering the past. I really think Brian and Gus should go to the opening.

Last chapter ~ I forgot to say that Greg must have had some kind of memory loss. Wasn't it Greg using Brian? But he blamed Brian for using him! SMH

I don't think it would be hard to find anyone a cut above Greg Fernley.

I was thinking as soon as Brian told Greg to get out, I was wishing he'd toss his clothes either out a bedroom window, or out the front door. Thank you for making that happen!

How does he face Justin after Justin heard that Brian called his name?

That was awfully mean of Brian to get angry that Justin had to visit the people at the opening. I seem to remember when Brian didn't tell Justin why he went to Chicago to see Brown Athletics. All Justin got was: It's business, effectively canceling the trip to Vermont.

Such a simple comment, maybe Greg needs to be out of the picture. Well, that certainly gave Brian pause.

Hip hip hooray!  Thank you, Greg! Your selfisness led Justin back into Brian and Gus' lives.

Oh, Holy Moley! Oh Gus, why? I know he thinks he needs to get help, but it probably would have been a better idea to start walking!

Wasn't there a better car to take than the Corvette?
