I don’t mind saying it really broke my heart a bit to find out that Cynthia wasn’t pregnant. It would have been interesting to see where that storyline could have taken us. In the grand scheme of things though, I’m glad that everything is well and that Brian was there to help her through all.

Sorry for the disappointment...my intention was to introduce a complication for Cynthia that would give Brian an opportunity to be there for her in the same way she has been for him. Yes, I agree it could have been interesting...I'm not sure I'll ever write B and J in this 'verse with kids (other than Gus), but I won't say "never." At this point, though, Justin in this 'verse doesn't really want a child. He loves his and Brian's life exactly as it is -- and if they need a kidlet fix they can always go to Rob and Adam's. :)

This was a great story. I really enjoyed a story from Cynthia's point of view. Glad she was not pregnant, but I lol when Brian offered to go with her to child birth classes and be there for her. Love this universe and you continue amaze me with your ideas and your writing.

Thank you! <3 Brian takes care of everyone, I think, in his own way. He won't hesitate to step up for the people he cares about...he just doesn't want any fanfare or a big "to do" made about it. One of my favorite things about the character is the man behind the facade, and I'm having so much fun playing with that in this 'verse. Thanks for reading!

Thank you! Glad I was able to give Cynthia a little bit of extended airtime. ;) I loved the two of them in the series as well and wish we could have seen more of the friendship they even seemed to have in the series.
Now we will see what I can do with Kinnected now a part of the fold, and a totally different industry happening under Brian's roof. :)

Am I the only one who doesn’t like Cynthia very much right now? So she’s mad at a guy for wanting to marry her that she just might be pregnant by? And the fact that she’s not planning to tell him doesn’t paint her in a good light. She should at least give him the courtesy of letting him know what her intentions are. I’m sorry but she’s be pretty unfair here.
Do we get to know if she’s actually pregnant sometime soon?

At this point, since she doesn't know, it's not something she wants to bring up with him, but if she is, she will definitely have a lot more to think about than what she has at this point. And we will find out more soon! As for their relationship, Cynthia is a woman who is very career focused and knows what she wants out of life, and Rich wants something very different. If she is, I'm wondering if she is considering asking Justin and Brian to adopt the baby as she would never want to have happened.

Cynthia is definitely a woman who knows what she wants, and though this situation has thrown her for a loop, she still is sticking to her guns as much as possible. The main theme of this story is all about their "work family" and their relationship with each other, and how they take care of each other.

I forgot to write that Brian's reactions to the stick and to Cynthia's girly parts is hilarious. If only Lindsay could hear him, she would blush from head to toes, knowing she is the only one Brian saw naked (I guess they were).
