This was always a bitter/sweet time when Justin had to decide if he should go to LA. He wanted to hear Brian say that for so long.

I often wonder why there is no story where Brian would have fall for Vic like Justin fell for Brian. I think Vic is younger than Debbie, therefore the age difference between Vic and Brian shouldn't be too high.

Nevertheless, their relationship as it is/was is a great one: respect, tolerance, love and acceptance. Brian needed a masculine presence and Vic's was it for him. He needed someone like Vic to balance Debbie's exuberance and his parents' lack of love and consideration.

Just when Justin got what he always wanted-  Brian to ask him to stay, was when he also got the chance of a life time to use his art.  It was the best of times and the worst of times.
