Hi again! Yeah, I totally agree with what you said about using the petname prince out of the blue. But for me the whole scene was a little bit strange - even if it is such a beautiful scene which I wouldn't want to miss, I always thought it was too much, too much black or white, too much all or nothing.
Ah, beautiful chapter, thank you! But it feels a little bite like the quiet before the storm? And I agree with Marie-France... "Almost heaven... West Virgina" - I never thought about it, but I think whenever I'll hear this song now, I will think about Britin :-)

Hey! I finally started watching the 4th season of "The Handmaid's Tale" a few days ago and what can I say.... I can't stop and it's so nice not to have to wait a week for the next episode.... ;-) But... Two things... 1. Where are Brian and Justin? Haha During the first two episodes I constantly had this strong need to see them. And you're to blame (don't take me too seriously), because the last time I dealt with Gilead was while reading your story. 2. Well, I thought Elisabeth Moss was terrible in the first seasons, but for me it's getting nearly unbearable. These eternally long camera shots on her face, her slightly cross-eyed look, oh, her whole facial expression annoys me so unspeakably... If I didn't find the series so good in itself....
But now to your chapter. Wow! What an absolutely beautiful chapter. "It's for my prince" You give this whole scene a whole new meaning. And how fitting! Did the idea for this story come to you while watching this scene or did you have the idea for this story first and then thought this scene would fit in? And actually so much nicer that it's not about a stupid wedding, but first about a real relationship. Imo, that also would have been so much better for Brian and Justin in QAF, but whatever. But after I read it, I had to make sure that this wasn't the last chapter. It felt a little bit like it. And I was happy and felt relieved that it still goes on. Looking forward to Sunday! Haha, I just started on the fifth season on Friday. Amazon Prime here uploaded the first episode :)
Personally, I don't really mind Elizabeth Moss too much. I think her acting is pretty decent on the show, but yeah, I know what you mean about those shots. Some of those choices are...questionable ;)
I am glad that you liked the use of that line. It just seemed too perfect not to use ;) I had the idea for the story first and when I was writing it, I remembered Brian's line "for my prince" which I always found incredibly weird...He had never called Justin prince before and it was the only time and completely out of the blue and I wasn't a fan of that particular pet name, but in this case it fit perfectly, so I thought: Why not? ;)
This isn't the last chapter by far. There is still a lot more to come :)

Brian is pushing for his own happiness. Needs to put Justin first. Can't force something he's hoping to happen.
Daphne is the best. Pushing Justin out of his comfort zone. It's good for both of them.
Justin needs to try and bring both of his lives together somehow, without going crazy. Take Brian up on his offer to help. Both Justin and Daphne will be able to breathe easier.

Hi! Oh, you already subscribed to many streaming services. I only have amazon prime. But I also don't have that much time to watch many series, so it's just not worth it for me to subscribe to other streaming services just because of one or two series that I would like to watch. And I'm also annoyed by this "and again wait a year or more for the next season". A few month ago, I devoured the three seasons of Babylon Berlin and now there's the 4th season, but in the meantime I'm already a bit out of that feeling I had while watching the series. And that brings me back to QAF - because so far really no book, no movie, no series, no love story has managed to captivate me like QAF and our two boys!
Therefore... Thanks for another chapter! Ah, I suffer with Brian, because at the moment their situation really doesn't look good. It really seems as if Justin doensn't believe in them having a chance to be happy together. It's not that often that it's Brian who has to fight for Justin. And I'm very curious to see what he comes up with next. So, looking forward to Sunday! Warmest regards!

Haha, I know what you mean. I have all these streaming services, but then only watch an hour a week on them each lol. An hour on Friday on Amazon Prime for Rings of Power, an hour on Monday on Now TV (Sky) for House of Dragons, etc...My day would need 30 hours at least to have the proper time to enjoy them all. Add to that Audible and Spotify subscriptions and my day needs 48 hours really ;) Oh and I love reading and writing, so yeah, basically I am screwed.
Yeah, thanks to Netflix I have become such a binge watcher. It annoys me that services like Disney+ or Prime only release an episode a week and not the whole show in one go... I am not used anymore to wait a week for the show to continue and it annoys the hell out of me.
Yeah, poor Brian. He finally opened his heart, took a leap of faith and then this...poor guy! Let's hope that they can figure this out. Thank God, they both have good friends in their corners.
