I always wanted to like Mel but she makes it hard. Everything in her mind is Brian's fault...why can't she see it's Lindsay who is the problem not Brian. I hope she lets what Debbie said to her sink in.

Jesus! A couple of women need to be bitched slap! Mel is acting borderline too. Her hatred toward Brian has really ramped up. She refuses to believe Brian and Justin. Those poor kids have been neglected. If Mel doesn't snap out of this, I hope Brian takes her to court. It wouldn't be too hard to prove the neglect of the kids. The whole family (barring Michael) would be able to prove just that. I could just bet that if Mel were sitting in a courtroom, she wouldn't be able to hold her tongue. I can put up with a lot from people, but if a child gets involved, I tend to lose it.
Now Lindsay has gone off her rocker? I wonder if it was exacerbated from living in Toronto? If Lindsay was working and still taking care of those kids, I'd lose it too. I can't imagine walking into something like that motel room! Her ramblings not only scared Justin, but me too. She's like crazy - magnified a 100 times! I loved Brian in the motel room. He didn't mince words. Good for him. I feel so terrible for the housekeeper. I would think the mattress would have needed to be replaced. However, since it was a dump to begin with, maybe not.
I think Mel could use some counseling herself. At least she admitted she wasn't supermom. (Another detriment against her.) I would have liked to see what Mel might have realized about her inadequacies if Lindsay hadn't been getting money from Brian. Maybe when they started having to eat Ramen or Mac N Cheese every night, then maybe she would have realized the need for the other money.
What's going on with Michael? It's starting to look suspicious of him being the squatter in the loft. Geez, poor Ben. If he's not with Brian, which we know he isn't, what is he up to? Where is he all these times when he's not home? And he lies all the time, too. Ben is too good a person for him. I really hope Ben realizes this.

Jesus, mother! I hope Brian doesn't have a nervous breakdown. Between "best friends" and worry for Gus, the man has to be close to breaking point. It's just one thing after another. Good thing everyone else in the family seems very supportive.
Justin ~ I'm younger and cuter. LOL... They definitely needed stress relievers.
Poor Ted ~ Let's make a list ~ blue silk box... he's getting the brunt of everything. Giving false names. Having to talk to Mel. Good thing he has Blake to go home to at night. Because it sounds like Ted's going to need some stress relief himself.
The story is moving along beautifully. But I feel we're in for one hell of a ride, yet.

Poor Ben, he really has bad luck with the men in his life. First guy infects him, then he ends up with a jerk like Michael.
Glad to see that Carl has taught Deb a thing or two about her "baby."
