So, call me surprised! The last review you had on this story was one from me. Funny, I can't recall ever doing that... (Old brain or Covid brain?) The latter is the worst!

I DID NOT like Justin's inner doubts and thoughts. How could he even contemplate voices like that?

PART 3

I really hope the girls have had enough of Michael. Especially after hearing about him killing off Ben and Justin's characters. BTW ~ how and when is Ben going learn about this?

What a load of BS that came out of Michael's mouth when talking to Mel. Oh, I forgot it was Gus' birthday. Why, otherwise, did he just happen to show up? That dig about Brian not being a good father, and Melanie not contradicting him, really steamed me. IF she loves Justin, as she says, then she should do something, because it would make Justin happy.

Setting up an account for Lindsay surprises me. Maybe I'm not seeing something.

I forgot that Justin gets his prom memories back. I recently shared my liking of that type of story. Thank you for that. I need to jot this one down on my draft sheet.

PART 2:

I would have liked the meeting to have gone a little differently - just because I HATE Michael... It would have been funny if right from the start, Brett looked at Michael and said -- We weren't impressed with the last issue, so we're not making it. Low blow, huh? Then Michael could have been the fault for the movie NOT being made. (Sorry, I'm so mean.) Funny how these little quips enter the brain while reading certain parts of the story.

Brian could have held his breath outside for all Michael will still not think Justin makes money painting.

This chapter is SOOOOOO frickin long, I might have to pause a few times during it.

At the beginning, in Justin's journal, he was saying something about how Michael wouldn't have a reason to contact him... Why the hell doesn't he BLOCK Michael's number? Brian should, too. And as far as that goes, why doesn't he and Brian just tell Michael they're together? They don't need to pussyfoot around. The guy is already hounding them and talking shit about them. How can it get any worse? Sorry... I just hate that man so much. Maybe it would serve Michael right that instead of just wondering if they're together, let him have to imagine all the things he KNOWS that they're actually doing? I mean, if Mikey asked Brian if he's seen Boy Wonder, wouldn't it be fun for Brian to say, I spent all week with him. My dick is so sore from the 50 times I f**ked him. RIGHT? :D

Love the title of this chapter... Now, if you'd just update that story, I'd give you a big virtual hug.

Am I surprised the guys blew up? Not really. Not seeing each other for a long time, they have to fight, the same as having sex and loving.

As long as they keep the sex dirty and the fights clean, maybe they'll make it.

Oooh, I didn't remember this. Anyway...

How people liked the Sappersteiners can live with themselves is beyond me. I'm actually surprised that Daphne let them go with a warning. A warning is like a threat. When they're out and about, they can still strike. She probably should have had the police come and wait until Gary got there. Justin, knowing they're out, no wonder he's having attacks.

I'm impressed by Brian. He knew what Justin needed without Justin saying anything about why. He was so tender and loving. It made me happy how in tune they are with each other.

Hugs, Cathy

After Brian told Marcus that he and Justin have an open relationship, and one-time only clause, I'm surprised Marcus didn't ask for the one-time.

Henry ~ I was liike, 'don't go there, Henry. These guys have enough on there plates from their "friends."

I love how these two just show up whenever, naked and ready.

Any time you have "Sap" in a story or nephew in thins - I know they aren't fine, upstanding citizens. I get a fear-shiver up my spine.

I would have loved to have a little more in canon about the whole Adam Lyons debacle. But of course, they couldn't dream up a storyline quite like this.

God, where do Mikey's entitlement issues come from? (Forget it, bad question.)

I must be in a "let's slam Mochael mood." If Brian really thinks "End of discussion" when talking to Michael, well, we all know that until Michael's satisfied, he doesn't listen. Good that Brian pushed him out. But then he rants to everyone he sees.

I'm so glad Brian's realizing what he really wants, and is going after it.

Do you have a roof to go on when you need to be alone? Even at my age, that sounds heavenly some days. But it'd be hell trying to get up there. ;)

I'm glad Brian finally took the majority vote for him going to NY. He should know by now to never listen to that whiny voice. He's too full of evil.

Glad Justin caved and kissed him. Man, a year just seems way too long for those two.

Hugs, Cathy

BTW ~ It's been so many years, I figured I had to reread it. My old, tired Covid brain forgets lots.

Great scene-  the passion and lust and love all come through.  Brian talks well with his body and Justin knows how to listen.  Now they have to talk when they are not joined in sex.

Decided to reread this wonderful story-  Almost a comedy of errors-  Justin in Pittsburgh and Brian in New York-  then of course they bump into each other in the airport.

You covered a lot of emotional background in this chapter. I haven't read any other reviews, so I don't know how others responded in regards to Justin giving Hobbs that much money, but it really doesn't surprise me. First, Justin is at the core, a very good human being. Secondly, I can see him thinking that this is his atonement for putting the gun in Hobbs' mouth all those years ago. Not that he needed atonement, as Hobbs did set out to kill him...

Brian... if he still harbored any lingering doubts about him being the cause of the bashing simply by showing up at the prom, all that should be assuaged now with Hobbs' telling him without him being there Justin would have died. I got chills reading that.

Mikey, Mikey... foolish Mikey. He thinks he EARNED the right to be by Brian's side. To be the most important person in Brian's life... well, guess again, Mikey, dearest. When was being Brian's friend about just being Brian's friend? If he wouldn't have gotten something out of the friendship for all those years... he wouldn't have been so keen to keep it. It started with help against the bullies, help with the homework, and who would Michael have been all those years out on Liberty Avenue if not the Stud's best friend? Yep, past time to drop the dead weight. But then, that S.O.B. has kept n touch with David all those years? Hmm, I wonder how Ben would have felt to know that... All I can say, is good riddance!

Well, an interesting set of circumstances.

The police station episode went better than they could both hope for. And with Justin going back in to show the text messages from Ethan, that should further show the Officers that Ethan is unhinged.

Jason and Mikey... UGH!! Since Jason is already at Britin, not much can be done except a three-way conversation between Brian, Justin, and Jason in order to clear the air... but it would be interesting to see what Bethany and Sharlene think of Jason's past endeavors.

Ben and Colby need to be informed of Michael's arrival, and they need to take a car to the end of the driveway and sit it sideways and block his access into the house. Brian can meet them at the end of the driveway when he and Justin get home.

Townsend... was that Claire's actual name in the show? And what a psycho bitch she was. I recognized the name, but I thought I remembered that from Pa Boi's story. But holy mother... he's in... will he inform the others, or will an alarm go off alerting the bank officials?

Pins and Needles...

I can only imagine who John's boss is... hopefully he picks someone... Cynthia and thereby, Colby... to relay everything... at least what he knows.

Yay for Ben kicking Michael out! I'm proud of him. It should have happened long ago. I'm still wondering if Ben knows about the comic.

So it seems Debbie had to see through her rose-colored glasses, but for how long? They get back to Pittsburgh and Michael's wheedling and whining will have her caving, I'm sure. If that happens, she can kiss Carl goodbye.

It seems Michael thinks when he calls Brian today he will answer and forgive him. (Nobody knows Brian as well as me!!) But, Brian has been taken from his home, by the police, for questioning, when he's having his wedding party, with potential clients present, and all due to Michael's vindictiveness. I don't foresee forgiveness happening any time soon. I'm sure the last time Brian had the police come to his home is weighing on his mind, too. It never sits well with a gay person.

Here's kudos to Ben for realizing Michael isn't what he needs or no longer wants. I'm still waiting for the truth to come out about how Michael had Ben and Justin's Rage characters killed off. Hopefully, you won't deny us that little bit of fun.

Am I surprised at Debbie? No! By her saying they owe her, I can already see a shit storm brewing. When she started with her belligerence and her "Michael was just drunk'... then when she crossed her arms and said Carl wasn't sleeping there, I would have gotten up, called a cab, and stuck her and her drunk-ass son in it and sent them back to Pittsburgh.

Ethan has a lot of explaining to do after they get Brian and the others' statements. I'm happy the doctor and officers knew the truth of some of his injuries. Stupid is as stupid does.

Daphne and Troy are cute. It was fun hearing Daphne's view of the relationship from the beginning. And that's so true about how displeased she was with the 'hiding in the closet' arc. But it's something rarely pointed out in stories.

I have different feelings warring regarding this chapter, starting with the party.

I'm not surprised the first words out of Debbie's mouth was to halt Brian, thinking he should go after Michael. What I am surprised about, is her lack of (do I want to say horror) to find out that was what Michael had said while completely sober. Melanie and Lindsay fall into that category too. There should have been gasps of shock and surprise.

I do want to say *Kudos* for each Michael and Justin getting some well-deserved punches, and I'd like to see them try and sue. Ethan came into their home, during their wedding... and Michael... Brian wouldn't let him. Besides, Carl was there. They were both well deserved.

I applaud Cynthia and Colby!

As far as Brian and Justin go... okay, Brian was concerned with the way Justin reacted... but when Justin more or less told him he knew that Brian forgave Michael for saying that before, Brian SHOULD have apologized. Then I think Justin should have said, 'he's your best friend, deal with it' and went into another bedroom, only arriving back in there 15 minutes later, and then dominating Brian, working through his anger. Brian should have had to stew for his lack of remorse.

Hey! This is what you get for asking what we thought of the chapter *smirk*
