I liked how Gus told us how everything has turned out so far. I wonder if Mel has totally lost any chance of being a lawyer.
I don't know why, but I picture Lindsay's husband with a big beer belly, wearing a 70s shirt, with a bolo tie. At least it makes me chuckle.
I wonder if Michael still has the comic shop? In my mind, I'm saying no. He probably sits at home all day watching movies.
Poor Brian. He doesn't stand a chance against the kids, especially Mia. Lord help the first boy that comes calling!
I'm glad the kids are all happy. I really loved this story. You have a knack for writing.

Michael is really a piece of work. (I know I say that a lot!) The fact that he turned Jenny away from Ben for his own selfishness is about the last straw. A child can never have too many people loving them.
Brad sounds like a wonderful person. I'm so very happy for Ben. He deserves it.

What a weasel! I'm looking forward to the landlord tossing him out, because I want to see where he'll go to live then. I can just about imagine the hissy fit when he finds out Ben is going to get Jenny.
I was so proud of Gus and what he said to Lindsay. Big Q is just the perfect place to unload with some laughter. Brian better not put the animals in Armani, or they might like it so much, they'll use his clothes as backup.
Mel might have only charged $40, but she was with Lindsay when she charged the 5k, and JR was her daughter, so I'm not sure if that will account for anything oir not.
I'm very proud of Debbie, and I smiled at Carl's greeting to her.

I do think Debbie is serious. However, I won't hold my breath until we see how she is with the three adults when this comes to fruition.
She was cute when it came to Mia. And I do believe she would never hurt a child.

I just loved this story- I must have read it half a dozen times already- I think the way you describe the characters thoughts works really well and I can absolutely believe they would act in those ways given the circumstances- you really nailed Michael and Lindsay perfectly! I loved this story so much! It was so pleasing to see Lindsay go to jail for stealing the money! She basically lives her life on others peoples money and feels like she’s entitled to it- I hate that so much, so thanks for not letting her get away with it. Thanks for writing this wonderful fic.
p.s. I thought it was kinda funny that you said you wanted to write a more light hearted story and mentioned the idea of brain running after Michael and neglecting Justin- ironic since I’ve just been reading that fic (and loving it) but it is the most heartbreaking and painful to read story I’ve read of yours ;)
