Way back, I wondered about Ben. I think I mentioned that it was strange he never said anything to Justin. I know Justin didn't want to talk about it, but at that moment, all Ben had to say is: 'Just so you know, they didn't go through with it.' If he didn't have ulterior motives, he would've been upfront with him. That way, Justin could have made an informed decision. But for Ben hanging on for 12 years, it says something right there.
Thank you, Emmett. Ben needed to hear the truth. I'm sure Ben didn't even realize how much he hurt Justin. He was only thinking of himself. Jacob sees him as an uncle, and to just have Ben step out of his life would hurt. Ben's the adult. Act like it. Right now, he's no better than Michael. Maybe he should go see Michael. *gag*

Loved the way Emmett got Brian into the house. Yeah, if it was Michael, head examined might not cut it. They might have to commit him and try shock treatment. As soon as Michael said he should figure out what Jenny calls Justin, I just knew it was gonna be Dad! If Michael had given it any thought, he shold have realized it all on his own. The fact that everyone was mad, and Justin said he would be the one to speak to Michael, I think it gave Michael pause. At least we know Michael took into consideration what Justin said. As far as Michael talking privately with Brian, not yet. Not untill Michael grows up a little more.

Lots going on in this chapter. Michael is still not getting it. Where he gets off thinking Emmett would give him up to 10k, is bonkers. Especially to fight for custody of Jenny. The man couldn't take care of a toad.
As far as his lawyer, well, the guy will have to sue him for that. Between the lawyer and three years of back support, Michael's going to be looking at a jail cell, himself. And I hope Deb sticks to her guns about not helping him.
Emmett always makes me smile. He's such a little cutie. I am surprised he knew about Brian's house and where it is, when the only other person knowing was Ted, well, maybe Debbie.
I wonder if Lindsay is on the up and up. I wonder how she managed to get the tape? Does she think that by producing the tape, any bad parenting won't go back on her? Or is she, too, trying to get Brian to her?
I was just thinking about Stockwell. He was the police chief, so is there anything regarding Justin's simple assault charge?
