I adored this story! One of the most enjoyable and entertaining I have read- I never once got bored, or frustrated, or disappointed, as happens with so many longer story’s, this was just brilliant and consistent all the way through. I honestly never wanted it to end. Your story was so well written and such an honest pleasure to read, I couldn’t tear myself away. I loved every second of this fic!
You also managed to introduce a large number of secondary and original characters to the story without overwhelming the the plot or taking ever the focus from the main characters which we come to read about- something that is very rare to be able to pull off so well. Plus I didn’t hate or become irritated with a single one your secondary or original characters- something which is even rarer! I think it’s because the didn’t dominate or dictate Brain and Justin’s actions and reactions, and at not one point did the story go off in tangents about original characters.
I applauded so hard when Michael and Lindsay were permanently disowned for their behaviour, rather than being forgiven somehow as often happen (which I hate it fics- if I wanted to see that, I’d just watch the dvds lol!) You also did well with not having Mels change of heart not instantly make everyone forgive her and become her best friend- I thought that was really commendable and felt much more comfortable to read than an instant turn around. I was also so happy to see Brian standing up to his mother, sister and nephews and not letting them back in his lives after all the abuse he suffered. Such a satisfying story to read all round.
Honestly I could sing the praises of this story all day. It was brilliant and I loved it and I wanted it to go on for ever. Thank you so much for writing and sharing this amazing piece of work with us :)
