The spelling of the party, to me, spells ~ D.I.S.A.S.T.E.R. 

Why does Michael want to have a party out of the blue? Especially just learning about Chase and the possibility of a half-brother.

Hmm... is Brian's birthday coming up, and Brian has forgotten about it?

If the Kinney's are not anyone Brian thought Chase should associate with ~ I'd say the same goes for Brian's friends. 

Way to go, Gus! I think he was right to have that remain a secret between him and his daddy. I somehow don't see Mel or Lindsay seeing it that way. ;)

I like how Brian sees the value of Ted as both an employee and a friend.

I always wonder how both Brian and Justin can be ready for sex at any given moment. No matter what they're doing, or how tired they are. :D

Michael is soooo pathetic! He's rude with all his comments. He acts like such a jealous child sometimes.

I am glad that Brian had a chance to mention a few things to Chase. I was afraid that Chase had confused things at the restaurant that day.

I'm glad Brian toned down his anger toward Justin. No reason to add more fuel between them when they have so much other stuff to deal with.

Then we have Michael. I could almost hear: But I'm your best friend.

I hope Brian won't jump all over Ted. Doesn't Ted have to be discreet about Brian's finances?

I think Justin would be insulted if Brian tried to give him money for Gus' trains.

Chase just went up in my eyes. I think Brian had better explain to him just WHY he wouldn't want to be associated with the Pittsburgh Kinney's. 

What an ass Joan was. WHY would a child of hers even consider bringing a bottle of liquor to their alcoholic mother? Especially when she was drunk all the time when they were young children, and didn't try to protect them from Jack?

I was wondering if Brian's personal checking/savings were also hacked. But I think that would be a little difficult to do. I'm sure the bank would have contacted him.

The bank in Philadelphia ~ could they access camera pics, and do handwriting analysis to show that this person is not Brian Kinney? 

You have given no clue who this person is. I can think of a handful of people we know from canon, but I'm not sure which one, or if you're bringing in an orig character.

I really hope Chase isn't involved with this.

OH NO! This story's plot is bizarre. Probably not for the reason you might think. About six months ago, my best friend and I were putting together a new story plot. Believe it or not, it was a case of identity theft.

We came up with a lot of information on identity theft and how much a person would be responsible for. Then I posted the question on FB-Legal Fiction, where a handful of attorneys will answer questions. You pose the question to them, give them the date and place. (Pittsburgh 2005) And they relate the info to what you're asking. When the site opens, there is a warning that this is for fiction only and not legal advice.

In the US, if identity theft is proven, you are not responsible for any credit card charges, and you're not responsible for any debt incurred on fraudulent new accounts opened in your name without your permission.

Of course, taking these things into account, it might be boring if Brian didn't care about this.

Is this Chase Hammond doing this? Is this a ruse?

This was a great story and I was hooked from the start. As the story progressed and more things started coming out, Kip was on my list as well as one of the suspects and I'm glad he was caught.

I really liked the ending. Especially because it's not a perfect scenario you left us with. It makes the whole story more real. Great work. 

If Kip lost his job because Chase went to Brian for a new campaign that would be more than enough reason to try to ruin him. 

Somehow I hope that Jack cheated. I think it would be nice for Brian to have a brother. Also the interaction between him and Joan was surprising but in a good way.
