So I'm not actually hating Michael in this one. I'd say more....really irritated. (so far) Nice to see Lindsey and Mel in better shape, both of them seeing the reality of things. As much as Lindsey feels she should be able to voice her opinion, at this point there's no malicious intent. No real selfish gain. she's just used to giving Brian her opinion and assumes she should continue to do so. Mel shared her thoughts and they both communicated well. Lindsey seems more apt to listen and catch the innuendos. Hopefully for her, Mel and the kid's sake, this continues.
Michael so far is much the same. His opinion matters. He's behaving very selfishly, but again, so far, without any real malicious intent. He's presumptuous. thinking he can just show up at M&L's house early without any call. He just thinks he's right. He thinks his opinion matters. The thing is, nobody is really stopping him. they all complain to each other, but don't tell Michael so bloody well stop with the emails.
Not sure how quickly he's going to learn his lessons. He wants things his way period. Not sure how long it's going to take before he starts really pushing and what the others will put up with before they push back. What will his reaction really be about this next child and Justin being the father??

Michael is such a selfish and self-centered Magoo!! Lindsay and Brian were good because his little "Jump the Gun" ass would still be waiting for us to return home. Hell I would even rent a hotel room for the night so that I wouldn't have to go home until I was good and damn ready. And now that he is there, he just expects plans to be changed to accommodate him?! Oh NO Sir! I really hope none- NARY ONE- of them give into Michael's demand for attention!

I really hope that Lindsay heeds Mel's counsel regarding Brian and Justin's relationship and NOT jump on The Twit Train with Michael and Deb. I certainly hope there will be several golden "Sit the F*ck Down" chairs delievered to Michael throughout. Even Ben is telling him that their situation is NOT for everyone else. Somehow the cinderblock in Michael's head doesn't let any useful advice, information or common sense through; just the gerbil with his egocentric motivations are which run amuck on the wheel of self-importance and idiocy. Someone please find those 'seats' soon!
