Okay ~ I'm shocked! We went from Carl telling Debbie he couldn't stay there… and how he can’t even look at them or be around them anymore, to being married to Debbie?! And now Michael's living there??? Carl can't be that stupid! Actually, as an officer, he should have reported Michael and arrested him back when the conversation about the missing Rage payments came up.
Then when Michael went to Brian and Justin's house... it read: They helped the bleeding Michael up from the floor. They should have just grabbed his arms and pulled him out of the house and called 911.
For all of Michael shouting about Justin only being with Brian for his money ~ again, is that one of theings that attracted Michael to Brian?
I really don't understand how any of the "Family" can have anything to do with Debbie and Michael. Ted and Emmett saying they have to be there for Debbie ~ WHY? They all had mothers, and don't associate with them since they didn't approve of them. Well, what's to like about Debbie? Aren't they even a little afraid of what she could do or say to them, if and when she gets angry or gets another bug up her ass?
I'm surprised the majority of the Avenue hasn't abandoned both mother and son!
Loved the part where Mel told Debbie the truth about Michael... although Debbie didn't even react or question her son. Another pass for her 'baby.' A little confused though... how was Michael given visitation rights, yet can turn up at any given time. It sounds like another court visit should happen. Especially if Michael doesn't pay child support. Get him on Supervised Only.
Great about Michael's money! Serves him RIGHT! Besides, it wasn't his money to begin with!
I really liked this story ~ well, until the end, and how some of the main points were pushed to the side. And still, nobody got to hear of all the things Michael did. That's just not fair!

Oh man... am I gonna be furious if this "family" forgives Michael and Debbie. Michael should really be locked up. I'm sure a good lawyer could assist in putting him away for a couple of years. Especially when Brian and some of those guys would get done painting an ugly picture, and the attempted rape charges. Why does none of this come out, so the family knows how evil Michael is? Then Debbie might learn a little more about her manchild. Maybe she would recoil from him too.
What's that thing about liars? A person who lies always thinks someone else is lying too. That's how I see Michael. When the doctor told Justin to go see Brian, Michael came out with: How can you be sure he will tell Brian the truth? He's lying to him all this time-- I think Security should have come and removed him for the yelling.
So glad Ben told him to shut up! Why is Michael still at the hospital? He should have been removed from the hospital for causing an uproar and yelling.
I wish Justin had thought to call or go see Cynthia when he was wondering where Brian was, after Michael told him to get lost.
FINALLY! Brian has his memory back! I still cannot figure out why some of the things Michael tried with Brian ~ getting into his shower naked ~ going down on him/ "nibbling" ~ all these things he tried with Brian. Geesh! The family NEEDS to be told. That way, they can make an informed choice. The only thing with Lindsay is there is no one else who knows her plotting, only Lindsay herself.
The BIG question for me ~ did Brian have his memory back before Justin came into his room? Was this a way to test Justin's honesty? Or did his memory come back, just that like that?

UGH! That chapter was kind of yucky and hateful, but necessary to the story. It gave us an insight into Lindsay's mind. Poor Brian, can't he get away from these crazy people? I feel so bad for him. With friends like these ~ Well, we all know how that reads. Between these two "friends" and a "mom" ~ well, Satan has his flock doing his dirty work.
Lindsay was very devious to Brian during college. How she planned to trap Brian into marriage... well, there was no law that they had to get married. Both Lindsay and Brian were of age. She would've just been another unwed mother. Or if Brian married her to give his son his name, then he could have divorced her.
I was wishing that after we knew that Lindsay poked holes in the condoms, Brian would have found one, or at least seen a wrapper. Then Lindsay really would have been out of Brian's life.

Michael is certifiable. If Brian still holds Michael’s POA, he should have Michael admitted to a padded cell, then throw away the key.
That scum had Justin banned from the hospital. I sure hope Justin does the same to him. But at least, the hospital threw Michael out! :D
Emmett was starting to have questions about Michael, so I have to wonder what he thought when Michael said: I only care if Brian would waste everything that I have been working on these past two years!
Was that waiter making it up about him and Brian? Maybe he knew Justin was going to spend it with Brian and wanted to brag? It seemed Brian was irritated with the waiter. Maybe the guy was pressuring Brian, and Brian just wanted him gone. Then there was: he'd know that Brian was clear with any human scent that wasn't his own. So it doesn’t sound like Brian did anything.
When are the others going to find out what Michael has been doing to Brian these last few years? Every time it gets close that someone is going to say something about it, the conversation changes.
My heart bleeds for Brian and Justin. Circumstances are just going against them. I hope they realize that they are Soulmates.

What a roller coaster ride! This whole chapter was! About nobody trying to find Justin, I'd think they could have tried colleges or even locating Ethan or Daphne. Her parents were still in Pittsburgh. I'm sure they would have known something.
When Brian had his first accident, I assume Michael was his POA. I wonder if Michael would have kept Justin out?
At least Ben told Brian about the way he treated Justin, and so did Cynthia. Good enough, because I think Brian will forgive Justin, knowing that he was the cause of the break-up.
Michael's lucky Brian didn't off and punch him when Brian mentioned the house. Even as the others are starting to catch on to things, you'd think Michael would keep his mouth closed, so Brian didn't yell the truth about Michael's deceit.
Lordy, lordy, who hit Brian? Was it Ted's car that hit him? Or a drunk running the stoplight? How badly is Brian hurt?
I was a little concerned that in your chapter notes that this wasn't an MCD. I was actually worried about someone coming close to death. Just how bad is Brian?

Oh my God! Debbie actually went along with Michael's stupid plan! Am I shocked? Not really. Debbie might like the truth, but as I said, she always ends up taking Michael's side. I can't imagine how the other four are gonna stomach Michael's and Debbie's presence when this all comes out. Geez, Brian is going to really need Justin's strength, only to find out Justin deceived him, too.
What is Brian Kinney going to think when he figures out about all these carbs he's eaten, and his 7:00 rule, and how he ignored it? :D
Is it confusing to anyone else that, after all this time, Brian and Justin haven't run into any of the family when they've been out and about, even with Gus?
Oooh, I feel for Brian. How much more can he put up with the "family?" I kind of understand Justin, but after Debbie joined the bandwagon of Michael's deceit, that's when Justin really should have told Brian everything.
Ben ~ good ole Ben. I hope he sticks up for Justin when everything comes out. Will this knowledge give Brian back his memories? And how did Justin hurt Brian? Oh god, did this happen the night of the Rage party?

I can't figure out why Brian hasn't taken out a TRO on Michael. At least that should stop the harassment while he's at work. Because then if Michael didn't stop, a quick call to the P.D. would make it real.
Finally, Debbie heard what has been going on, right from the horse's mouth (or should that be, the 'jackass's mouth.') I hope she sticks to her guns, and comes clean about everythng, but we all know how Debbie ends up protecting her "Little Boy." I just hope she lets the manchild grow up this time.

I think what you're hinting at is that Justin hasn't told Brian about them being together before. I figured that out from Justin's reaction when they first met at Starbucks. So now that Michael has duped Brian, Justin's afraid of Brian's reaction when he finds out the same about Justin.
Was Justin told to stay away from Brian after the accident? Was he with Ethan then? Nothing has been mentioned yet.
The one BIG problem with him not telling Brian, is all the heartache and crap that Brian has gone through with Michael - who I hope is put out in the gutter.
I'm surprised Ted and Emmett didn't hear Michael in the bathroom with Brian, as he yelled "Babe". Geez, something has to give, pretty soon. It just blows my mind that nobody seems to question Brian about some of his reactions. I'd like to get in line to bring some torture Michael's way. I can't even imagine the family's reactions, when they learn of this.

You know, in canon, when Michael was chosen to be the father... that whole scenario hit me so wrong. Michael was so immature compared to the others, besides being babied and getting his way. And Debbie was never known to mince words. I'm surprised they never considered all of this beforehand.
Anyway, I guess in this situation, Brian's under the impression that the girls know about his and Michael's relationship, *cough-cough* so naturally, why not make them co-fathers?

Brian should have brought a couple of suits to Justin's apartment. Then he wouldn't have to go back to the loft to shower and get a suit on.
Michael bringing the Johnny Walker to the loft... I have to wonder what Michael thought when he couldn't get into the loft. I think Brian should have just put the box and card outside the loft. Even then, I don't think Michael would get the hint.
I wonder how a 20-year-old Brian was so different from the 30-year-old. He wasn't that same cynical, arrogant man.
We don't get to 'hear' Justin's thoughts on this new Brian. He must be marveling over the change in Brian. At the end of the chapter, there was a lot of talk about "trust." How is Brian going to trust Justin after all this comes out?

Brian's so confused regarding the 'nine years' with Michael vs playing the Stud with all those other men. I wish when Emmett and Ted were taking digs at Brian, I wish he'd snap about how they allowed Michael to stay with him. How coud they allow their dear friend to stay with someone who treated him like shit! I want to grab those guys for not giving Brian a chance. They must see the difference after all this time.
So what if telling Michael would affect their friendship? I would think that would make Brian extremely happy.
I'm starting to wonder if Michael is starting to actually believe that they are partners. The guy is certifiable.
Why hasn't Brian changed the locks? Michael couldn't come and go as he pleased, or catch Brian unawares. Maybe I missed that part...
So very happy Brian and Justin have reconnected. Excited to see how they resume their relationship.

With every chapter, it's making me have evil thoughts about Michael, and all the ways we could "take him out." I'm not sure how much more of him I can stomach. What a thing to do to his "best friend. The fact that he doesn't remember Emmett and Ted, well, that gives him no one to talk to. Hmm... I wonder about Vic? But I guess at that time, he didn't know Vic well enough to talk about a topic like that. However, Vic is not as judgmental as Debbie.
Hopefully, Brian won't "go there" with Michael. Brian can stick to the "Movies."
