I'm loving the "getting to know each other" scenes.  It's so refreshing to see a different side of Brian.

Can't wait to get to Maine.

Loved Grampy for being protective of Brian..

And Michael well,he's just a hopeless case, not seeing anything beyond his wants,so better he'd be left alone with nobody...

Good to see Mel start putting herself together for her kids..and Gus and Callie  they are just adorable😍😍

I really appreciated Brian being straight up with Drew and the honesty Drew gave back in return. I can understand a little more of why Drew wasn't claiming Emmett when the news first broke. They both have protective natures so it stands to reason that Brian now has a clearer view of Drew.

As for the second part of the talk regarding Sierra... well that explains a whole lot, now doesn't it?! She tried to cover up her own misdeed by playing victim. I think she was just pissed because Drew wouldn't boink her but I don't think she would have acted as much of a shrew if it was a woman he had an affair with. Her coming forward was more about pride and envy than it was about anger, in my opinion. Futhermore, I think she was probably planning to entrap Drew with a kid eventually. You never can tell with scheming chickenheads like that. I mean, hell look at what Lindsay was trying to do to Brian... just saying

Michael is as always a selfish little pissant and this time he was called on it by the one person he needed to hear it from...not that it made a bit of difference. Danny was completely honest with Michael telling him that he didn't want to be a father and that Deb gave him the freedom to live his life according to his own expectations, not hers. But Michael heard none of it. Instead once again he goes off on a tangent of 'Woe is Me' and blames everyone else for his lack of action and how as far as Brian goes, he took care of him. Mitch please?!!!!

Michael was happiest as long as Brian remained unattached because it fueled a fantasy that was never going to happen. Furthermore it allowed Michael into places that his whiny would have probably been banned from otherwise. How dare he think that Brian is so mindless that he's succumbing to the influence of Justin? Again, no acknowledgement in the part he played causing Brian to do those things just his wish that Brian gets rid of Justin so his life can go back to what he considers normal. And this is a 'best friend'? Danny was absolutely right to tell Michael that he really isn't a best friend. It really must be a special kind of hell to live in Michael Novotny's head- painful, pathetic and pussified to actually take responsibility for his own fracked-up existence. If Michael could have benefitted from having a father-figure at all, it would have been to teach him how to be an adult and own his shortcomings. But again, this is Michael Charles Novotny, blame-thrower extraordinaire we're talking about.

Gus and Callie are adorable. They will probably make great lawyers someday. I laughed so hard at them and their ploys to get a Disney trip out of Justin. Daph and Mel looking on was also endearing. It was a wonderful light-hearted family scene!

Happy Writing and HUGS,

Michael might have gone about things the wrong way but he’s right that Drew’s fiancée is the victim in this mess. Brian is right that Drew should have broken things off with her before getting involved (sexually or otherwise) with someone else so Drew was in the wrong there. And since Emmett knew that Drew was engaged he was in the wrong too by having sex with Drew. But since they did what they did, instead of manning up and owning their mistakes and at least apologising to the fiancée and trying to make restitution they’re trying to make themselves look good instead. And I’m very disappointed that Warren and Justin are encouraging that when instead they should be encouraging Drew and Emmett to do the right thing by the fiancée and at the very least apologize to her personally and hopefully even publically as well! I now dislike all four of them. Since everyone is telling Michael to own up to his mistakes they should be applying that to Drew and Emmett as well.

Fabulous Chapter!!! Michael and Lindsay have shown that they can't be helped and need to be left behind.

Glad that Mel and Ben made the decisions that are right for them. Helen is an absolute dream!! I really love the way she got Mel to both think and say what she needed to.

I love that Lindsay is going to have to learn to stand on her own for once instead of looking for hand-outs. It's something that should have happened a long time ago!

Warren and Brian's talks are endearing. Brian is finally getting the father-figure he's always needed.

Michael trying to guilt  Justin into giving him the attention he wants backfired big time. I loved the way he acted as Michael's mirror and pointed all of the supposed grievances back where they belonged.

But most of all I loved that Brian and Justin declared their feelings for each other.

Looking forward to MORE!

Aaaaaaaah finally declaring their love for each😍😍😍😍

Wow Michael really is fantasizing about having everything in a blink of an eye because he's related to Justin??Does he even think that his father might have nothing or so little compare to Justin's family?but No...So immature and childish and expect everything will be handed to him..

Good for Mel taking a stand and not letting Lindsay manipulate her again..and too bad for Lindsay no one's gonna come to sit beside her and specially not Brian not even helping her..she's on her own,it should be a lesson for her...

YAY!!! Brian and Justin are realizing just how a 'mistake' actually can be a blessing in disguise!

I felt so bad for Emmett here. To be betrayed like that...!!!! Brian's plan is golden though. Treat Michael as the insipid, insignificant ingrate that he is. The only attention he should be given is a punch to the throat by Debbie but I think Moronic Michael is about to know just how it really feels to be banished to the land of obscurity, even from his mother and his lover. At least I hope so!

Love Brian and Justin's thoughts here! And definitely LOVE the way they are there for Mel and how they spoke with Ted.

Michael needs a muzzle and quickly before Drew or Emmett decides to permanently close that hole in his face! Also somehow I think he managed to make it all about himself. I wonder if there is some way for Warren to get a gag order for that reporter or at the very least find a way to discredit Michael labeling him as nothing more than an attention-seeker with delusions of grandeur. But then if he does the latter, he would be guilty of making a STUPID asshole famous and no one really wants that.

Great chapter and looking forward to MORE!

Huge step for our men, trust, they so love each other.  I think that was a great scene because they both showed trust in each other. I don't think the plan is exploitation of the kids unless the house never opens or stays open a short time.

Mikey got schooled by Grampy/Uncle.  He needs to read Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People".  Perhaps Grampy can get him a life coach, cuz he's on his way to losing Ben and he really doesn't care about losing Hunter. Maybe Danny comes he'll take him on the road as a wig mistress.

So, I am going to trust Grampy not to interfere but to instruct Brian.  I see him making Brian a billion or two, lol .  Oddly, I also see him locking the two in a remote electricity free cabin, just like he and Granny goes to once a year to rekindle their closeness.  Yep, this story has me thinking all kinds of things.  Hunter can drive them there in his Land Rover, cuz they won't fit in the Mustang, lol.

Thank you for writing this thought provoking and often hysterically awesome fic!!

LAWD HAM TURKEY!!!! Clean up in Kinnetik! God I wanted to punch that mealy-mouth mofo OUT!!! Michael is a spoiled entitled brat even though he grew up with significantly less money than Justin. Debbie's sacrifices mean absolutely NOTHING in comparison to what he supposedly didn't have....SMH Everyone needs to wash their hands of him. Some people just can't be helped to become better humans- Michael is such a one!

As for Brian: First his interaction with Justin here was so important. The fact that he actually cared what Justin would think of him showed his growth, which Michael and Lindsay love  to ignore. Secondly, I'm so damn HAPPY he is not running to Michael's rescue and didn't buy into the guilt trip. Again that's showing real growth as a man- a married man. He's putting his family business first, something Michael can't do because he's a selfish POS. And last, I think that even though Drew is the face behind the foundation, this is Brian honoring Justin's vision and also wanting to help. Like he said, he could have been Hunter if he didn't have Debbie. I think that statement is so telling! And yet Michael had Debbie but doesn't appreciate her, just think he's owed for being born. I actually cheered when Justin threw Michael out. This version of Brian and Justin is so well-developed!

BTW...Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Warren? Under that Daddy Warbucks persona he is still so approachable and endearing; just wholly human. He talk with Emmett- with all of them really- has made such a significant impact, it's giving me the warm fuzzies.

Great Chapter!!

I love Brian and Justin in this! They are already making the conscious effort to decide things together and that can only be good for them.

I really hope Ben stays GONE especially since Michael's oral diarrhea has let him know exactly how things are in 'Mikey World.' It is more than obvious that Michael is NOT going to change. I wonder if Ben will?

I truly love Warren. He is one of those rare real people that no one has to guess where they stand with. I'm glad that he laid it all out for Emmett so that he can make an informed decision. I imagine he's going to become the male version of 'Aunt Lula' for Emmett.

Great Chapter and looking forward to MORE!
