Now this is an amazing concept on what if Brian had gotten the job in New York. I'm happy to see that Emmett stuck with Justin while everyone else was being shits. I'd like to say that I dislike how Lindsay and Michael were to Justin, but I'm enjoying how evil you've made them. I hope that since Brian didn't have a clue that you'll give Justin a chance to have Brian make it up to him.

Wonderful advice from Jen! And an honest look at herself too. Both she and Justin have grown up as a result of Hannah it seems.
Brian's talk with Mel was informative. I wanted to punch Lindsay in her glaring eyes. Based on what Brian imparted to Mel and her responses, Mel didn't know about the baby at all. Hopefully she'll start asking some questions of her own and see Lindsay for what she really is.
YUCK!! Mel's having a baby with Michael?!?! And all for the sake that he and Brian would be fathers together??? As if...!!! I wonder if Mel knew that was part of the plan as well. Poor Gus having to be the bearer of bad news all the way around. I'm glad that Mel, at least, told him about Justin in a sense. Had it been left up to Lindsay it never would have happened since everything has to be about her.
The interaction between Gus and Hannah had a good start. They both seem to be accepting of each other and have even found some common ground. I have to admit that I love that Hannah is into all types of sports, even though Justin isn't. It's really great that she takes after Brian in more ways than just her appearance.
The talks between Brian and Justin were also very informative and important. It can't have been easy for either of them. I'm glad that Brian explained his real reason for leaving- at least to a minimal degree. Justin thinking that he just wasn't wanted was so wrong on so many levels. But in his defense, when told something enough it's hard not to believe the lie over the untold truth. Hopefully they can find a way to stop blaming themselves and each other and find a way to move forward.
Can't wait for the next chapter!!

There's no doubt that Hannah is Brian's dispite what Deb may say. she needs to get her nose out of his business! She's pretty infuriating in this. So glad that All 3 spoke to her as they did. They're not going to put up with her crap, nor that of the others! Looking forward to the verbal beat down Brian and the others will do to them.
Really nice first meeting between Brian and Hannah. Will be interesting to see what happens when she and Gus meet.
Good on Justin for laying down the law with Brian as far as Hannah meeting the rest of the gang. Can't blame him at all. I'd do the same thing. What will Lindsey, Michael and Deb have to say and do about it all though. Mel too. Is Justin right in his assumption or will she find out some truths about it and see what her bitch of a wife is really like and what she said to Justin.
Emmett is wonderful!! So protective of Hannah and Justin, but is willing to gibe Brian a chance. Lord help him if he screw up mind you. lol. I highly doubt thatwill happen though. I think he's come to a point where he has his priorities straight.
Excellent chapter and eagerly awaiting more. Can't seem to get enough.

I'm glad that Brian met Hannah. Deb needs to find a life along with her son. Both of them are really pathetic! I think Jen and Justin were right that Justin was the only person/thing to keep Brian around Michael. How can a grown man like Brian stay friends with a grown child like Michael? It has always puzzled me...SMH
I can understand the walls that Justin built up where Brian was concerned. And I'm glad that Emmett pointed out to Brian why he has them. Em is a super BFF for Justin. He was spot on to point out the difference between Michael and Justin. Also, I'm glad that he touched on the situation with Lindsay. As a person who has nothing to gain or lose by telling the truth, Em's word will carry a whole lot of weight in going toe-to-toe with Sargeant Pain in the Ass.
I can't wait until everyone gets what they ought to!! I'm a little more certain that Lindsay lied to Mel as well. The only question is how is the fiesty lawyer going to handle it? YES, I'm still rocking in my Chuck Taylors with a brand new pack waiting for the next chapter for this and SWM! Go StarBaby!!

Glad Ted want;s no part of them and that he wants to re connect with Emmett. Again, he's showing his ability to think for himself now and is also taking responsibility for his past behavior.

Awesome chapter!! Nice to see Ted sees the error of his ways. Lindsay and Michael really need to be punched in their mouths. I wanted Brian to push Lindsay down the stairs when she said 'Brian remember, Gus needs you.' What a BITCH!!! And a jealous one at that to think that she is the only one allowed to have a BK kid.
Then Michael.... LAWD why wasn't Emmett there to hit his whining ass AGAIN?! His whole outlook on life disturbs me. He's a selfish little shit with no filter between his brain (such as it is) and his mouth unless it's only to utter some hateful diatribe about a young man that he could never be. I mean seriously... 'When you figure out that he's a lying whore, I'll be waiting.' Really no-ass no-class? REALLY?
And then there is Deb... I seriously hope that Ted told Mel what is going on and that she doesn't buy into Lindsay's bullshit because I seriously doubt that she will want to incur the wrath of Brian. He may have a lot to work out with Justin but those issues don't extend to his kids and neither will his patience in dealing with people who try to withhold his children from him.
