Wonderful Chapter! I am really looking forward to Justin and Hunter working together. He may have to tell Lindsay to get off his balls a time or eighteen (same with Michael's inherent nosiness) but it will all be worth it. I love that Justin was honest with Hunter in why he was perfect for the job. I really hope he will begin to see himself the way Brian, Justin, Cynthia, Rachel, Ben and even Michael sees him. GO GET'EM HUNTER!!!

I liked this chapter a lot. Michael showed some serious backbone. Was supportive of justin and the decision he made regarding work. He didn't support Hunter simply because he's his son, but because of his accomplishments. He didn't coddle Lindsey's jealousy or give excuses. When it came down to it, he stood strong for his family, and walked away when he felt he couldn't handle the conversation anymore and allowed Ben to continue.

OMG!! I'm so HAPPY that Ben and Michael lit into Lindsay! How dare she dismiss Hunter like that?! And for no other reason than the fact that she is jealous out of her mind. This is the one time that Michael not having a filter worked for me!
Brian's dream with his future darlings was just too endearing! I honestly can't wait to see that prophesy fulfilled. One Justin was and IS more than a handful but three of them??? LMAO! I see a bottle of "Just for Men" haircoloring in Brian's future. Talk about getting gray hairs!!!!

“It goes to my ass, then I let Brian make sure it doesn’t stay there.” Justin tells him, making everyone laugh.
“I’ll still love it when it ends up at your ankles.” Drew tells him.
“We tried your viagra and realized it wasn’t really all that different from a normal day for us.” Justin tells him.

Glad that Justin talked to Cynthia about his fears in promoting Rachel and that she eased them. I really do like Rachel and she understands Justin, both as a man and as an artist. I LOVE the idea of Justin opening his own agency geared towards art. Definitely a smart move and will give him career longevity as well. Hiring Hunter is also a wonderful thing to do. Not only will it give him a chance to work his degree- which is rare for many college students- but he'll be well paid and travel places the rest of them can only dream of going.
As for his conversation with Lindsay, what the hell?!!!! Thank GOD he did not hire that harridan! I know that she's not necessarily bad in this fic but I still don't like her invasiveness or that passive-aggressive, guilt-slinging bullshit she just tried to pull. I firmly believe she would have been worst than Stephen at trying to manage Justin instead of solely Justin's career. Time with Brian would be a thing of the past in its entirety until Justin is so burned out that he either gives up his career in its totality or becomes so blocked he can no longer produce the quality of work he's become known for. Hiring Lindsay would have been the ultimate disaster!
For Brian's part, I'm so glad that he backed Justin up and laid it all out to Lindsay. I don't think what Justin said really registered in her one-track mind until Brian noted that she couldn't do what Rachel does while living with Mel and raising Gus and Jenny. As for her staying with Brian and Justin, thank the GODS that both of them are out of town AND the loft is unavailable to her!! I firmly believe that Lindsay would use any opportunity to play Lady of the Manor and instead of respecting Brian and Justin's design choices, would definitely change them to suit her ideals and taste. Melanie allows that to keep the peace; I highly doubt Justin would be as cowardly. Let her go stay with Michael and Deb who would definitely benefit from Lindsay 'moving in.' Lawd knows their places definitely have too much of their personalities in them...LOL
