Ted is everyone of us who has ever lost at love, it's not that they didn't love you, it's that's you can't believe you were wrong. He keeps giving Michael his number because he wants to see the man he loved still in their somewhere. Usually, they aren't because they never existed. His ease with talking with Justin makes sense. Justin is the PTSD Whisperer, lol.
Shelly tells off Deb is hysterical. Throwing a wrench in their program, lovely.

Ted opening up to Justin was pretty amazing. Justin really listened and since he is pretty unbiased in the whole thing, perhaps Ted will actually listen and becoome more comforatable with the others as well as himself.
Likeing the twist here where Michael apparently really doesn't LIKE Brian, but is simply there to be used for what he has, or what he can do for him. Same with Lindsey and Deb. All 3 seem to believe that Brian owes them. Very sad.
Shelly ROCKS! she has no problems standing up to Deb. I don't think Deb really expected that. That someone had teh audasity to go against her adn her precious boy. Oh the future confrntations are going to be interesting especially with Justin and Daphne being within the circle now as well.
Praying that Gus is able to come out of this relatively unscathed. He's going through so much and has been so negatively affected. It's heartbreaking. Hopefully Justin as well as Lily will have a positive healling affect on him as well as Brian Ted and Emmett. All of them together will be a force to be reckoned with.

Wonderful chapter, once more!
It's great how you created this group dynamic with people who were complete strangers a few days ago.
Ted is opening up, smiling and taking initiatives with Lily, even if he mustn't be familiar with babies. It's a good therapy for him as well. Maybe he won't communicate his future phone number to Michael.

Ted talking to Justin is slowly getting him to see that someone caring about you isn't a bad thing and that no one has the right to make you feel inferior just because they have no power.
Shelley is one brave woman to take on Deb and come out of it without a scratch or the need to check into the hospital.
Deb likes controlling everyone in her life because it gives the power her mother never let her have since her mother made her face her responsibility at seventeen when she got pregnant.
Deb makes sure that everyone knows unless they cater to Michael she will kick them to the curb and now she can't stand that her old tricks aren't working on Brian anymore.
All Deb, Michael, Lindsay really want is the feeling they get being in Brian's shadow and the money he gives without conditions, only if Brian was to actually sue for every dollar he gave them it would turn their hair grey (Not far for Deb, Hell it might actually be her real hair colour;)).
Especially if Brian paid the mortgage for Deb and the two witches houses and if Michael has the comic book store and he can prove because he always paid with checks<crosses fingers>then technically he would own them. (Something his lawyer should seriously look into, Always Follow The Money!!)
Mel just wants Gus back because it was the only leverage she had over Brian, without Gus she is just a peon Lindsay uses to get back at Mommy and Daddy.
Can't Wait For All Them To Get Their Asses Kicked!!!
