so the back story comes out-  really liked the way they each shared their stories-  now Brian has an inkling that Gus is his and Justin has shared his story with a man who appears intersted-  lets hope that Brian doesn't freak- this Brian seems to be a more level headed man

LMAO I love Gus so much. I could totally picture his little face being all exasperated with Brian for not wanting to leave him at the preschool. Protective Daddy Brian is HOT.

Brian is kind of starved for sex, he needed relief.

Once they see something more interesting than parents, kids just don't care about us anymore.

I just started reading that story yesterday and completely fell in love with it! It turns out to be a beautiful idea and really well executed. Gus is absolutely adorable and so is the relationship that he and Brian are developing.

 

I was really curious about how you were going to introduce Justin in this. That was surprising, but in a good way! I like that you got Molly into this, she is such an underused character (including in the serie) and I really like "mature and responsible" Justin. It's gonna create an interesting dynamic with Brian. I can't wait to see how their relationship will evoluate. That's interesting to see Brian face such a life altering situation, that happens to him all of a sudden, and the impact it's having on him.

 

The only thing that I didn't really understand is what is happening with social services finally... Did he call them or not after talking to Carl? Carl kind of advice him to retain some information or let say "edit" the story regarding his paternity and maybe also the situation with Lindsay, so if he did call, what exactly did he tell them and what are they going to do? I think this would need to be clarified...

 

I can't wait for the next chapter! :)

Yes Brian did call CPS. He told them that he is the father and that Lindsay just sent him Gus without any warning and then disappeared. He asked them to help him locate her. This way Gus will be left with him while they try to find her.

Carl suggested that Brian not tell them that he not the father, because then they would have to put him in foster care and Brian wouldn't be allowed to have any contact with him. They will leave him with Brian if he says he's the father.

Gus likes Justin and he thinks Brian needs to have someone.

Brian is trying to change, maybe Justin is just what he needs.

Excellent chapter: they start to be at ease together, and with the kids; Brian starts to think Gus might be his kid.

The only touchy thing is that Gus is really traumatized and it's dramatic; it would be worse if Brian can't keep him; I don't use the verb won't because I don't see him going any other way.
