I just start the story it was a little funny and here I'm crying Craig had killed Jen I was not expecting that,  Justin and Molly take care of each other.  I hope Gus and Molly help for B and J relationship! Great story!

Author's Response:

Marie,

There are reasons for everything.

The kids are happy together.

Glad you are enjoying the story.

*Crying* I was not expecting that, I assumed SOMETHING sad had happened to Justin, maybe Jen had died from natural causes, but the fact that his father was the cause of her death... that has me in tears. I'm so happy that Justin and Molly have each other though. And I have a feeling Gus and Molly are going to play a huge part in getting their big people together :)

Author's Response:

Sally,

We were trying to make the story different.

It was done that way so that Justin would be the one raising her.

The kids like being together, so they want to stay that way.

Wow.  What an amazing back story.  So Justin is a good bit older and not the teenager that we normally expect.  This story gets better and better.

Author's Response:

YumYum,

Thanks.

Brian and Justin's ages are 35 and 23 in this story.

Glad you are enjoying the story.

A day at the zoo.  This story is all kinds of interesting and we get to meet Beauty ...er... Justin.  I'm sure Justin's back story will prove to be interesting as well.

Author's Response:

YumYum,

He definitely is a beauty.

Justin and Brian both have stories to tell.

What an interesting day.  A BBQ and Build A Bear!  Me thinks Gus has snuck into B'ine's heart.  Nice to see Ted and Emmett and it seems that Michael is running true to form.  Brian is a good daddy.

Author's Response:

YumYum,

Brian would be a great dad. He knows what not to do.

Ted and Emmett will be a help to Brian.

Michael will be his usual self when he gets back from Europe.

I just love hearing Gus talk.  He's so cute and his dialogue is so kid like.  It's nice that Brian doesn't yell at him like he sometimes did to Justin.  Which brings me to - have Brian and Justin met?  You've done a great job.

Author's Response:

YumYum,

Brian knows what it feels like to be yelled at and he wouldn't want a kid to feel that way.

Brian and Justin meet in chapter 5.

Kind of heart breaking.

Author's Response:

wellreadbunny,

Sorry.

It's why Justin is taking care of Molly and why he is so good with kids.

Loved this chapter.  B'ine is so good with the midget who thinks Deb is a clown.

Author's Response:

YumYum,

Brian believes children need to be loved and sheltered.

Any five year old seeing her for the first time would probably think the same thing.

Oh, poor Justin... how awful!

I'm glad Justin felt the trust he needed to unburden himself to Brian and I'm glad Brian is taking the time to at least allow himself a chance at something more than he's used to.

Very clever of Justin to figure out Lindsay's name!

Already looking forward to the next chapter!

Author's Response:

Toto too,

Justin has had a bad time, but Brian will help with that.

Brian is realizing he needs to change some things.

Justin has had much more practice with kids.

More soon.

Yes, I get that you're giving Gus a 5-year-old voice... And I think it's done very well, and feels natural. That's why I like it. In my mind, I could just imagine Justin overhearing this and using the same endearment to irritate Brian - in his very Sunshiney-way, of course! ;-)

I think Brian is trying his very best to ignore the similarities he sees in Gus!

Author's Response:

Toto too,

Thanks that's a great compliment. It's been a long time since my kids were that age.

Justin will have a couple of pet names for Brian.

It's creeping in slowly, others definitely notice.

Wow! What a chapter! Molly & Gus are so cute together, as is Brian & Justin. And getting better acquainted. That backstory of what happened to Jen ..holy shit! Craig is even more of an animal...asshole! At least he won't be getting out of prison. Looking forward to more!

Author's Response:

Glo,

They are all cute together.

That's why Justin does so many things with Molly. He wants her to be happy.

Glad you're enjoying the story.

Yay.  I got to read this when it was posted but I didn't have my computer nor my password to post comments.  Loving this.  We know that Gus is Brian's son, but Brian doesn't know that yet, does he?

Author's Response:

YumYum,

No, Brian doesn't know for sure yet that Gus is his.

He's not even sure if he wants him to be.

So happy you're enjoying the story.

HOORAY! Justin is finally here! And it looks like he already has Brian's number.

BTW, B'ine is the cutest name ever. I hope Justin tells him so too! I'm also loving how the family is humoring Brian by not pressing the obvious, that this kid is his! Saving Chapter six for a little later, when I can relax and give it the attention it deserves.

Author's Response:

Toto too,

We're trying to make Gus sound like a five year old.

If Brian pays attention he'll probably notice similarities.

Hope you enjoy the next chapter.

This just keeps on getting better and better, I love stories with Justin and Molly - so I was super excited to see that is how Brian and Justin met. I can't wait to hear his story and why he is taking care of Molly so much.

Brian is learning what it is to fall in love, his heart is being warmed by this kid and he has no idea it's even happening = and that's what makes this so great. He feels truly happy and he doesn't really recognise that feeling. Gus is just as good for Brian as Brian is for Gus. I am dreading him having to call social services.

Cannot wait for more Brian and Justin, but also more Gus and Molly hehe.

Rocking this, ladies.

Author's Response:

Sally,

We will know Justin's reason soon.

Brian is trying to enjoy all the new feelings, without putting a name to them.

More from all of them soon.

Brian's a natural and he doesn't even know it. I love watching him fall in love with Gus when he's completely oblivious to his feelings. Seeing how he dealt with the bed wetting broke my heart, how Brian could relate to the fear Gus felt was so sad, but in a way, I think him having those memories has helped him deal with Gus.

Growly man was BRILLIANT. That will now always be his name :D

Brian taking Gus to Build a Bear may have actually just made one of my ovaries explode. That was so thoughtful - he knew Gus needed something he could connect to and love on.

LOVING THIS, LADIES!

Author's Response:

Sally,

Brian is a master at using his experiences to determine what to do and what not to do.

He is doing everything to help Gus feel protected.

So happy that you're enjoying the story.

LMAO that conversation with Brian and Gus at the end was brilliant. It was the perfect question from a five-year-old - and while Brian may have thought it was early, it was sp apt for a little boy, who has probably never been around another man to ask. I loved how uncomfortable Brian felt, but how he didn't brush Gus off and answered him as honestly as he could.

I so knew he'd end up taking the kid shopping, we couldn;t have him looking like he belonged to Michael LOL

Author's Response:

Sally,

That just seemed like a very logical question for Gus to ask. Poor Brian was kind of thrown but he handled it well.

We can't have any child that hangs with Brian dressing like the weasel.

Wow. Really great chapter, so much detail. I like relaxed Brian and the midget is adorable.

Author's Response:

wellreadbunny,

Brian really needs some downtime.

Hopefully Gus and Justin can help him with that.

Gus is a great character.

The thingy talk was hilarious; I could only imagine how impressed Gus must have been by it.

It's also funny how Brian is trying to deal with a messy but adorable kid without getting angry/loud.

Author's Response:

SNO,

A kid that never saw an adult would certainly have questions.

Brian wouldn't want any child to have to endure what he did growing up.

 The talking trick was hilarious!

I am falling in love with both of them! Glad Michael wasn't at the BBQ. The trip to the mall....awwwwwwww! When will Linds be in touch with Brian? Will she or does he find her?

Author's Response:

Glo,

Glad you're enjoying the story.

Michael and Lindsay won't have large parts in this story.

Brian is great with kids.
