The lure of Michael and Deb is too strong for Brian to leave behind. He's gping to try and think of a way to have it all. Right now he's losing Justin,Gus, and Cameron.. He really doesn't seem to care.
Borh theories of Nick's are right. Payback from Ben for being treated as a third wheel.

I certainly hope Brian listens to Nick and takes his advice.
I knew Gus was going to be the hardest person to get through to. I think he and Brian need to have a unburdening of some sort.

Brian has to stop making excuses and face the damage that was inflicted, he allowed Deb and Michael a lot of leeway and condemned Justin for standing up for himself.
I hope they find a way back to each other and their family, but Deb and Michael can't be involved at all.
Justin has enough to deal with and doesn't need Mel using their situation to get back at Brian, she either needs to let go of her animosity or Justin should show how her actions how consequences.
And Lindsay is bidding her time to but in and drive the wedge further.
