No, this is perfect as it is. The evolution of the season for Brian. And for Justin.
Very good character study of Brian. He's happy when the focus is on Justin/Gus/Someone else. That happiness fades when the focus is on his own anorexic family traditions.
The beginning of new traditions in a manner Brian will accept is great. A kiss. (It sucks that your life was shitty, that your Christmases were shitty, that your parents were shitty. But you aren't shitty and we aren't shitty so let's over-write the narrative in your head. Together.)
Says an enormous amount about who they are, individually and together, in a very short space.

Thank you. Im glad something this small was enough to get across such a strong message. Justin was probably meant to come in and start more traditions but I've honestly lost the motivation to continue. But still, I'm glad there's enough. 😊
