What an amazing chapter! There is so much happening and again, there are so many beautiful scenes. First, this moment when Debbie finds Brian draped across Justin. Then later the short talk between Deb and Justin… Would have loved to see this on screen. And then, such an amazing and thoughtful present! Their first “non-date”. Wow! So much better than an hustler :-) (I know, it was S2)
I do not really trust the peace yet and am afraid of the next relapse but I’m so glad you let Brian be so strong and brave, starting to fight against his demons. And it seems he is slowly accepting his feelings for Justin, allows himself to love and be loved.
No leather ball! Great - And I’m so happy that he stood his ground against Mel and her bullshitl. I hated this in the show. This provocations often led not only to Brian being hurt, but also Justin. And here, it would also affect Gus.
Like I said before, I love this chapter, your writing-style and especially how they get closer and closer!

Awww, I love that Deb saw Brian asleep and wrapped around his sunshine, relaxed and happy, and because he was asleep, his guard was down and she got to see the man that only Justin gets to see. Her saying that he hasn't let anyone get that close. even Michael must be hard for her, but also must make her happy to see one of her boys so happy.
Justin offering to be Brian's addiction, oh, bless him, I get why he said it, but I am glad it pissed Brian off, he doesn't want Justin to be that, Justin means MORE to him than that :)

Another amazing chapter!
Justin's birthday was a success and Molly is quite as witty as Justin.
The part with Gus that you revisited by adding Justin was great, except the part with Mel barging in and ready to attack Brian, at least verbally. The fact that Brian did tell her about his addiction was a surprise, but with Brian, nothing is ordinary.
Brian is more and more open to Justin and he finally realizes that Justin loves him, despite his addiction and their age difference.

Love how time with Gus turned out. That would have filmed well. I like Vic which was why I preferred that Deb talked Brian into talking to his dad. Sometimes I didn't like Deb at all.
