Like that this story is centered on Ted & Blake. They never got alot of good coverage in the series. I have a feeling that the Schmidt's may be getting a little boy in their lives.

I was thinking that Ted and Blake will suggest that they adopt Heather's baby when she announced she was pregnant.
Now that the baby is born and maybe has the Down Syndrome, will they ask Heather?
I don't know if those babies/children need special care; if yes, they will have to make some major changes in their lives.

This story takes place before Bittersweet Promise and explains how Ted and Blake got the child they have in that story.
Some children with DS have a lot of health problems and some have very few, just like typical kids. When you have any child you do what is necessary for them to grow up happy and healthy.

In the begining of the chapter I thought you were wrapping up the story. I was sad to see it go since it just started, but towards the end I realized that Ted and Blake were about to become parents. Ysy.
