OMG! I had misgivings about reading this when I sw it was a MCD... I usually try to avoid them. But then I saw it was after 60 yrs they spent together, so I gave it a try. It was touching in the memories, that showed their undying love for each other. But at the last, when Justin spoke to Brian, I lost it. I was crying so hard, I couldn't see the words that were written. Thank for this beautiful redention of their lives together.

I've only written one story in which a major character (in this case, Mel and Lindsay) died I don't like death fics of our beloved characters, especially Brian and Justin, but I pictured what it would be like if one of them passed after they had been together for decades, thus this story was born. Thank you so much for taking a chance on it and letting me know that it moved you to tears. In a way, that was my goal... not so much sad tears, as happy tears that they had such a wonderful life together for so long. Huge hugs, Grammy

I was going to say this story was sweet, yet sad, but then I thought about it and realized it wasnt sad, it was full of life...Justin and Brians life. It made my heart happy to know that the Love they shared lasted them a lifetime and beyond.
I was reading through tears when my hubby walked in and asked what was wrong...without thing I looked up and said "Oh Brian died" the look on his was face was pricless as he looked at me and said "Who the heck is Brian."

Yes, I let Brian pass on, but made sure that the love between he and Justin obviously never died, and never will. And I love the reaction of your hubby.
