I’m loving this so much- you’ve got me completely addicted already- I love that Brian and Justin are finally discussing things and Brian is beginning to understand how much Michael, Lindsay and Deb are able to manipulate him and pull his strings. :)

Another wonderful chapter! Mel and Brian quite getting along! That's new and not so surprising. They act the same way.
She also prepared the documents to sue Gardner even before Brian was thinking about it.

I always thought that if left alone, Mel and Brian would have a friendship second to none. Her insecurity played a major role to keep that from happening on the series, but I love developing their relationship in fanfic. I also felt that she wasn't utilized as an attorney to her full potential so I love letting the pit bull loose!

Michael is going down. This will rip the family apart and it will be all Mikey's doing. Bet he'd try to have Brian tell Justin to leave him alone.
Without Lindsay around, Mel and Brian get along. Nice to know. So glad justin talked him into retaining his rights as Gus' father. Justin is so right about Lindsay.

Gardner is going to need a new hobby by the time Mel and Brian gets through with him. And there are going to be a few surprises in that sect as well.
Justin is definitely going to be Brian's not-so-secret weapon. Now that he has his clarity back, he's beginning to see through to the true motives of people. If there was one thing he learned from growing up WASP and being around Deb and Michael is that no good deed comes without a price- or at least that's true in the case of some folks. Brian learned that long ago, but is definitely going to be reminded in the coming chapters.
