Lindsay might want to prepare for another lawsuit from Sydney cause he is going to find out she was using that money for herself and not her family.
Smart to have Ron and Nancy listening in so they Really Know what's going on and not Lindsay's version.
Michael can take his invoice and shove it where the sun don't shine, but Deb's lips are firmly planted, after this day they are going to know that they have nowhere to turn.
Best also to make sure the Avenue knows the truth too so Deb can't spin it to make herself look like the Martyr who is being picked on.
Ben did good reassuring Hunter that he will have always have a home and him, plus he has options to protect himself from Rita and Michael, Rodney reassuring Vic was good too cause he can be there for Deb up to a certain point, always good to walk away cause Deb will not listen...Not just yet if at all????
Deb demands respect from everyone but she forgot that respect is earned, she taught Michael that instead of earning it he can just whine, pout, screech or run to Mommy so she can bully everyone into respecting Michael, that was not the lesson she was taught growing up but it is the one she taught Michael and that is about to hit her hard in the Ass.

GAH!!!!!!! What a way to end the chapter!! You're killing me! lol. I suppose I should be used to it y now, but, honestly....I'm going to be cheking for an update constantly!!
I feel so bad for vic. He's sort of between a rock and a hard place. Hopefully he'll be able to sort things out with Deb, but I just don't see that happening right away. Eventually maybe. Hope so for both their sakes.
Had to laugh at Lindsey thinking that she's going to be able to influence Brian in any way shpe or form. Or Justin either.
HEart was hurting for Hunter too. Oh the fear that must be courseng through him. Thankfully Ben is there for him, as are the rest of the gang. Michael has a massive shock coming to him I think.
I can't wait to read the next part (or probably a couple parts knowing you. lol)

Great chapter and one I didn't want to stop. Love how Ben reassured Hunter while Rodney did the same for Vic. Michael's thinking is so malviolent it's a surprise that Deb agrees. Will the reason for his fatherlessness come out?

Hope Deb's hand is feeling ok now because after she signs everything over to Brian and Justin and whomever else, it like her dignity is going to be hurtin'.
Will be happy when Hunter's wish is fulfilled. Home schooling will be best for him I think.
With Rodney having his back, Vic will be ok. Unconditional love will do wonders for the heartbreak that's about to happen.
Brian and Justin are going to be so much better for this. Cleansing the air so to speak.

Hey Regina,
We are actually at the very beginning of the smackdowns. There's no way I could jump right into it without setting the scenes for you. Doing anything less than what I've done here would have taken you 'out of the story' and made it feel rushed. My motto and mission is always going to be to provide a quality story, so I couldn't speed through it.
The thing is that if I put everything (what's here already and what I have yet to write/post) into one chapter, the word count would have been anywhere between 15-20K, at the very least. And although it's nothing for me to write that much in a normal sitting, I'm still not in a position to do that yet. Believe it or not, it will take quite a bit of conditioning for me to get there again, especially since I usually like to do those types of long chapters in a day or two at the most with minimal breaks in between. That's about the standard length of a novelette.
But rest assured, next chapter somebody is getting SMACKED! LOL I promise it will be worth every ounce of the anticipation you're feeling right now.
