Hmm... getting a little confused with the direction this has taken. Earlier, to himself... Ethan was gloating about the fact he shot Brian because Brian turned him down. Now his story has changed. It will be interresting to see if what Ethan was talking to himself about is the truth, or if he just told Brian the truth.

Is it a mistake? Doesn't make sense.

Hiya, no it is not a mistake. There is a three week gap between the chapters, Ethan followed Michael who was following Justin for a week. Then Ethan took Justin and hid him for two weeks. Chapter 35 will bring more information.

Ethan kidnapped Justin on the heresay of Michael who just continues to rack up Ass Kicking Points he is so going to wish he stayed in his comic book world.
I feel bad Ethan is dying he doesn't deserve that fate but it only slightly excuses his deeds but not the actions.
Justin needs Brian who needs him too and they both need time alone to deal with this before they can take on Michael.
