First, thank you for continuing with this. I can only imagine how difficult and taxing this must be.
When I sat down to start reading the update today, I saw you had already posted a second chapter. Go fingers go!
But, when I started to read this chapter, I really wanted to get back in the groove of the story, so I ended up starting from the beginning. And let me tell you, as hard as this story is to read a chapter at a time, I don't think you can imagine reading this much in one sitting. I am so hoping Brian gets his fingers around Ethan's neck and squeezes for all he's worth. That asswipe needs to be PUNISHED!
Now, the fact that he said to Justin, Your living here now, too... Well, if Ethan had bothered to clean at all since he moved into the place, and hadn't neglected it the whole time when Justin DIDN'T live there, it wouldn't have taken all day to do it. And cleaning is one thing... Ethan, apparently even with his closets completely full, hadn't even washed his own clothes so he had something to wear that day. Pray tell, how is Ethan's laundry Justin's responsibility? Not one thank you in place. I was so glad to see Justin's anger rise and spew forth. Ethan has almost stripped him of his self-worth. THIS gave me a little hope. I have seen a similar situation up close and personal, so the fact that Justin isn't completely beaten yet,,, well, hopefully, he has enough strength to get out before long.
His PAYCHECK?! I'm boiling! How dare he??? Justin will never see a penny what was left after the $20 for his meds. Many, many questions running through my mind there. WHY did Ethan need to deposit Justin's check into his account? HOW did he know which pharmacy to go to, to actually pick up the meds? Something is just not adding up. And the ONE time that Brian comes into the conversation and it had to do with him kind of still semi taking care of Justin - which Ethan would have normally thrown a stink about - said nothing. Is there going to be repercussions regarding this?
Just how long has Justin actually been living with Ethan now? And WHERE THE HELL IS DAPHNE??? She was always there before trying to talk common sense into Justin, and now when he really needs her, it seems she has abandoned him.
And listening to Mel and Lindsay talking to Justin, I can't wait until everybody finds out what Mikey said to him. PLEASE let them find out Michael told him to get lost; that he's not wanted.

Excited to see you working to get this one finished.
It's certainly intense and sometimes hard to read, so I can only imagine how difficult it must be to write from self-experience. Hopefully, using our boys to work through some of your personal stuff will help you continue to heal.
Oh, and Justin's quick clean-up before work? My Nana used to call them, "G.I." baths, LOL!

Just to start, I hate Ethan. Now that that is said. Great update. Sorry that the story caused you to struggle. Wonderful writing.

Thank you for updating this story! I understand your arguments at the top of the chapter and how manipulative people can make others do whatever they want and make them feel guilty when they don't agree with them. That's so true. It's great that Justin is fighting Ethan, but not enough yet. He should be careful with his money though.
