Not a pb for the rewriting as you are filling gaps and giving us a "new" version of events.
The only difference I see is who is topping the other, if I understood well: here it's Ethan, while I thought it was Justin in the series.

I love it as it is and will love it with changes. I happen to enjoy reliving the scenes from the series (watching it over and over does that) LOL. You are setting it up perfectly and I cannot wait to see where you go with you. Great writing as usual.

I cannot wait to see what you do with this. I love all kind of fics, but Dark angsty ones are my fave. From your perspective, I can really see Ethan being like that.

With the exception of the end, the Ethan fiascao was my least favorite part of the show. I always felt Ethan was a weasel and Justin was his prey! But in order to become that prey the scene had to be set perfectly and you have done just that! I can clearly see the different scenarios in Justins life that sent him down this path, add in Brian and mix with a young and immature Justin, the result was inevitable. Your indepth account is terrific, I cant wait to see where you take this! Candy

I can definitely see where you are going with this regards to Justin's "condition," I guess you'd call it. The opening paragraphs of each installment are intense.
And the part where Justin actually recognizes that his good-natured personality has left him vulnerable to manipulation shows that at least on some level, he knows it really isn't ALL his fault.
I felt like I was being forced to choose which man I would hurt the most. And, soft-hearted me, I was absolutely unable to make that choice.
But that shower scene... every time I watched that scene I begged, yes, BEGGED, Justin (both mentally and verbally at the screen, LOL!) to just tell him! But he never does... ;-)

I know it did seem a little strange that Michael was around and of course he was the one who just had to tell Brian. It times like this I wish Mysterious Marilyn had been around to warn Justin.
