It's so good that Brian is talking about his fears to Justin. Justin is strong and will be there to help him through this ordeal. It's so much better than in the series. They are partners. I love this story!!!

With the stress of his secret gone, he can breathe somewhat easier. With Justin by his side, everything will be easier. Glad he couldn't throw Justin out like he didbin the show.
The biggiest thing now is not letting Mikey know. Brian definitely doesn't need that bullshit.

Justin was always very much the more mature one of the pair, in much of the series. I wish Brian would have been a little more open with him, sooner, in the series. He eventually does, but it takes a long time. So I get to play around with that in this story. ;)

Oh, this was so good. You took your ideas and ran with them, making this whole chapter into something so believable. Strong/Justin... just what Brian needs the most right now. The way you write this, I can feel all of Brian's uncertainies, as I read them. I can see Justin giving up Hollywood at this point, without a second glance. Damn to MIchael's hounding... without telling Michael the truth. Will they have to sit down together and tell Ted and Cynthia? Looking forward to more of this story.

Thank you so much - it helps me a lot to read that the way I'm writing this is resonating with people. I love Brian as a character and I love thinking about his internal workings. I try to put that forth in my writing. I'm not sure if Hollywood is going to come into this -- good point though, thanks for the reminder. We will see and hear from Michael, Ted, and Cynthia all at some point...I have plans. :)

Wonderful look at how they will handle this together. So glad that they didn't blow up at each other and say things that would be hard to forgive. Justin made the situation about Brian and how he could help him. He didn't make it sound like he was staying out of obligation because Brian took care of him after he was bashed. Of course he would be pissed off that Brian didn't tell him when he first found out but he understood why Brian didn't tell him.

Yay, thank you! The arc in this fic is going to be an emotional one, but they will get through it together. I'm having fun playing with what scenes I want to call forth from the series now, and how I want to change some and keep some the same, and build around them. Fun stuff. Thanks again for the bunny!
